I met Ferlin at the Doggie Jail. Two sad mismatched puppy eyes looking outside the cage communicating that he wanted the heck out of there.

The first day, the mutt came to live with us, we were strolling in downtown Lewisburg and went into the Confederate Graveyard. An older lady admiring the asked his name. I told her that I didn't know because I just acquired him.

She noted his Husky heritage and suggested the name Ferlin. That worked for me so Ferlin is who he became. He is a much loved member of the household.

A few days ago, I was gOOgleseaching a song by Creedance Clearwater Revival. I found it interesting that Ferlin Husky sang it first. It occurred to be that my is named after a singer that I've never heard sing.

Ferlin Husky was popular in the 1950's when I was an army brat in Germany. I remember Marching Tunes that Sargent Dad taught us and a few German Beer Drinking Songs but no Ferlin Husky. We returned to the United States. I became a . Bell bottoms and the Beatles were on the horizon. I listen to Creedance Clearwater Revival but never heard of Ferlin Husky until I met the lady in the Confederate Graveyard. Nevertheless, then namesake should be honored. An Awesome mutt is named after him

When The Moon is in the Eleventh House

The Moon represents our personal private feelings. The moon makes us want to go into a cave on top of a mountain. Aquarius which is the natural ruler of the Eleventh House makes up want to get out of that cave and off that mountain into the Market Place.

The challenge is being able to balance our need to be the unique beings that we are and merge with the goals of the the community. There is a dilemma and mixed feeling between desires to merge and to separate. Also, the Moon conjuncts spacey Neptune, adding a layer of fog that prevents us from seeing things clearly.

Creativity will bring resolutions and the lessons of Synergy. Namaste!!!!

Thoughts on synergy and Partnership

synergy
In general, synergy (pronounced SIN-ur-jee, from Greek sunergia, meaning "cooperation," and also sunergos, meaning "working together") is the combined working together of two or more parts of a system so that the combined effect is greater than the sum of the efforts of the parts. In business and technology, the term describes a hoped-for or real effect resulting from different individuals, departments, or companies working together and stimulating new ideas that result in greater productivity.

In the past few years - I have learned to function quite well alone after having two marriage that went South. I isolated and became quite comfortable with my own company.

In the past few months - I have gradually came back into the community and have recently learned the value of networking. Seven years ago, my goal was to make a safe place for alcoholic women to heal and recover. Suddenly other women came into the community. Now we are working together and this goal is becoming a reality. I had the vision but I couldn't do it alone thus The Great Mother Gaeia sent the women and now it's happening.

Will a Love Connection ever become a reality. I have to be okay as a whole and team up with somebody else who is also okay as a whole. Together we create an productive partnership. Life on Life's Terms

West Virginia Directions versus Map Quest

When I first moved to West Virginia - I was always amazed by the West Virginia Style of giving Directions.......... Head toward - Alderson Way to the Burnt Up Old Barn by the Willow Trees - There is a cluster of Mail Boxes by an Old Gum Tree. Go up up an old dirt road next to a pasture of Black Angus Horses with an old graveyard inside of it. It is a blue and yellow House surrounded surrounded by Buckeye Trees.

I have gotten pretty good at giving directions to my house. That main highway, I can never remember what number it is - 2.1 miles from the scenic road. Follow the Road along the river to end of the mountain - head for the old quarry - for .9 my house is surrounded by dreamcatchers and next to an old abandoned church.

This Morning, I had to pick up ex-hubby at the bus station in the city. I have driven to this bus station before but I still have a talent for getting lost in the big city. I have been away from Los Angeles for too long. I decided to fire up a MapQuest just to be safe. The directions were terrible. They took me through stressful, crazy downtown Beckley. I decided to take the directions in my memory instead. Alderson Way to I-64 and up Sandstone Hill - Oh Joy - HarperWay to the exit that says Veteran's Hospital. one point two miles and Voila - The bus station. I was able to pick up ex-hubby with two minutes to spare.

Don't You Just Love MapQuest????

Difficulty: Naw! Terrain: Easy Park & Grab
You can stop at the corner Chevron for romantic hot dogs and coffee. The exit opposite the main park will lead you to a small picnic area with hexagram shaped tables. A easy walk to the cache

There is a fable about several young lads skinny dipping in the river. A divine prankster stole their clothes but after they gave prankster the Namaste! Gesture - he had no choice but to return their clothes. It would not be advisable to go skinny dipping by in the Greenbrier River - The small town smokeys and city kitties would not be amused. Nevertheless, the Cache "Namaste" can be found between two tree under a rock by the river.

Namaste," is the For Hindu’s greeting of choice " the two hands pressed together and held near the heart with the head gently bowed as one says, "Namaste". Thus it is both a spoken greeting and a gesture, The right hand represents the higher nature or that which is divine in us, while the left hand represents the lower, worldly nature.

In Western Culture, we shake hands - but those who consider themselves of elevated status (the Pope, the Queen of England, or the Presidential Turkey) don’t shake hands but everyone can Namaste! It means, "I honor the God within you who is also within me - I honor that which is sacred in you which is also sacred in me. ad infintum…….

She Loves - They Consumate - Betrayal
Oyster Poop! He declares and walks away
Poof!!!! Love is Gone or is it......
Broken Heart - Broken Pearls... Can they be mends.

Under his feet, He sees the Broken Pearls
He tells the Goddess to give him a brand new pearl.

The Goddess crosses her arms. She frowns
It takes me many life times to heal these broken Pearls.

I offer you the Mended Pearl as youself shall be mended too. Take it and treat it Well.

They meet - She's a Goddess or so she thinks
He Loves - They Consumate - Trust

Poof off to the sunset in the horizon they go

God knows that a mother needs fortitude and courage and tolerance and flexibility and patience and firmness and nearly every other brave aspect of the human soul. But because I happen to be a parent of almost fiercely maternal nature, I praise casualness. It seems to me the rarest of virtues.
