HONEY has many marvelous Benefits, medicinal values and innumerable beneficial properties. It is a natural sweetener that is easily and quickly absorbed into the bloodstream. Honey is predigested thus easy on the digestive system and a source of instant energy.

Honey contains Vitamin B and C, calcium, iron, potassium. sodium, along with amino acids and enzymes. Taking honey ensures a supply of such valuable nutrients, which can get destroyed in cooking.

There are Medicinal values found in honey. A combination of honey and ginger soothes sore throat and prevents cold and cough. For sleep problems, take a tablespoon of honey in warm milk as a bedtime drink. Honey has a mild, natural sedative effect and aids relaxation. Honey and lemon juice, taken first thing in the morning, relieves constipation and helps to flush the system.
