Today I walked in the forest to visit the new crop of Vanilla-Leaf plants. I pick them later in the season when they are sturdier and hang bunches in the house . When they are dry they have a delicate Vanilla scent and keep the bugs away......

I miss my granddaughter so much and I see others here expressing the same. My grandkids are locked out of the internet except for educational sites, but this quarantine has changed that......My discovered a supervised messenger app on FB Messenger. Parents have access to all correspondence and have to approve all contacts.
We're really enjoying this new way to communicate......She sent me a photo she took of her mom that she distorted and I commented......"Wow, you made your mom look like a witch.....every 's dream".....and she answered "I know, right?" and a giggling emoticon.....and we were off. She's making a movie and sends me her latest clips for critique.....LOL.....
I think this might help other grands who are quarantined from their grands......

Trump would have us believe that he perfectly comprehends everything because he has such great genes.....He knows more about "nuclear" than anyone because his uncle has a degree in Physics.......etc....Yet day after day he demonstrates for the whole world that he actually comprehends very little, in fact he displays his obviously severe case of Dunning-Kruger without hesitation......constantly...and somehow, his cult following doesn't care......
Today, he told us that he has no comprehension of how the testing for Covid-19 works.....He was commenting on the fact that Pence's press secretary, Kate Miller tested positive for the virus. He said that it made him question if testing was useful......He said she tested negative every day and then one day, for some mysterious reason, she tested positive......just like that. out of the blue.....she went from negative to positive in a day.....so mysterious, that can't be right, must mean that testing doesn't work.
A bunch of his fans responded with ....Trump's playing 3-dimensional Chess while we're just playing checkers...He's so brilliant, we can't follow hi reasoning... Uh Huh....that must be it........

I just came across a clip of Alex Jones advocating cannibalism......He thinks there will soon be a food shortage and he is looking forward to eating his neighbors.....In fact, he is passionately and impatiently anticipating his chance to finally slice off a chunk of his neighbour's ass and put it on the BBQ without any compunction or feelings of shame.......finally, guilt-free cannibalism....
Ironically, Alex Jones himself, red faced and stuffed into his pre-quarantine suit, looked very much like a fatted hog ready for slaughter as he grunted and squealed his fanatical screed....

Mother Nature, that is......The garden is coming along......The strawberry beds are all cleaned out and ready for their mulch, the Sunflowers, Garlic, Sweet-Peas, Delphiniums, Onion sets, Potatoes.....all out of the ground and heading for the sky.
The fruit trees are all in blossom, the apples just opening.......and there are tender green leaves running riot all over creation......bountiful Earth....
The little house is for my grandaughter.....her Dad's work is shut down so he built her a She-Shack.....
