I must of been a little upset for i put wrong dates in blog. I put Feb. 14, but meant to put Sept. 14. Or was it that I was thinking of all the beautiful women at Dells bash for Valintines day. It was probably a senior moment or is it that I am a blond with blue Eyes. You tell me. LOL Love Ya All Wilber

Well I thought everything was set for Sept.. 14 for my Surgery on knee replacement. I went to my first pre-surgery appointment and saw films on what to expect and rehab. and everything went great. Then I went to my second appointment to see if I was up to it (heart, blood pressure, blood work and chest ex-rays). The receptionist said we have a problem. Then she said my surgeon had quite the medical group effective Friday the Four. She said the two associates of Dr. Horan were giving free consults and would work in his surgery into their schedule. So everything is off until I meet with a new surgeon on Friday. I just will be glad when it is done and I am back to work. And riding my motorcycle again. Love Ya all Wilber

I thank God for another year and for all my good friends. I give thanks for all the good and bad times in the past 60 years. the good times made me smile and the bad times made me grow. We are what we are by the event that shape our lifes and to some measure we direct our life in the pathways we chose. I know I have chose the wrong path a number of times and made a number of mistakes. but that is the past and we must take each day breath it , live it , and make it our own and rejoice in it for it is a day that God has made for us. ps I am looking forward to the next 60 years lol Love Ya All Wilber

Wednesday of this week when I went to work I found that a co-worker that I spoke to everyday had called in sick. I was thinking that he needed a day off because of his terminal ill wife who has cancer and he had been under a lot of stress lately and was having severe headache's. After I found this out about thirty minutes later One of the boss's came in and said that Dick had died about thirty minutes before. Dick was only 56 and a very family orientated man. We will miss him and our prayers go out to his family.

I had to work friday night, so I made the drive on Sat. morning. When I arrived at the resort and checked in, They gave me direction to the house. As I approached the house I was greeted just like I was a long lost buddy. Everyone made it great. A lot of work went into the bash and I want to thank all that was involved. The food was great but what impressed me was special warm you get around family and you felt like you actually counted. Thank you all for that warm feeling and the memories that I have. I just wish Mary was there with me for she would have loved to meet ya all. Love ya all Wilber

When I first joined sff Paris was the first to welcome me to the chat room. She made me feel good about myself at a time when I needed it. She always put a smile on my face. I remember the perfect man and women and we all got to create. and had a lot of fun with. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER ABOUT PARIS?

Some times we take a trip down memory lane As I approach my 60Th birthday on Sept.2. I remember that I was almost my dad birthday present just a few days early. My dad's was on the 4th of Sept.
We always tried to do something together whether fishing or just hanging out with each other. Some times he would tell stories of his childhood.. Dad only went to the forth grade but he read fairly good and was a smart man. He would tell how that his parent would pull him out of school to pick cotton around Leachville, Ark. in the fall and how in the spring to do planning. That was before all the big tractors. He remembered waking up to the smell of frying bacon and he knew there would be homemade biscuit with sausage gravy and if it was right time of the year there would be tomatoes and cantaloupe. He said we that they never had much but we always ate and had cloths on his back.. He loved to play baseball and he threw a petty mean curve ball on a local team. He always said the best thing that ever happened to him was meeting and marrying my mom. They were married over 50 years and all they wanted was the best for their . Enough for now. Everybody have a great day Love Ya all wilber ps my brother and sister in pic
