Am requesting prayers for my dear friend Julia who has been diagnosed with cancer of the stomach,, her late husband was my best friend and have known the family for the last 35 years,,, she has a major operation in 10 days time when the surgeons will decide on a course of action.

things went ok at the hospital but still something in my eye, this coming monday the head specialist of the local practice wants to see me at 9,40am,, wishes I had the courage of some of the folk in SFF,,, lol, am a coward when it comes to anything surgical,,,,,

hi Friends,, have a hospital appointment tomorrow to check if eye cancer has returned, I had the cancer removed eight years ago but in the last two weeks have been experiencing discomfort again,, hopefully it could be the scar tissue inside the eyelid causing the pain,, will know at 1pm tomorrow,

hi Friends,
recently had a medical checkup, my doc suggested I apply for financial aid to help with the basic pension I get,, thanks to his advice my request was granted and now have just over double the amount,, he made me promise not to spend it on new climbing gear, lol, sadly my climbing days are now over, an accumulation of injuries have resulted in severe athritis,, I was always slightly careless on rock faces and paid the penalty, lol, now have a more sedate life, would love to try paragliding though,
old Jack takes up any spare time I have,, like his owner, he is feeling his years also, a gentle stroll by the Thames is now the daily routine, lolol, plus my anual visit to the USA.

Have recently returned from an enchanting two weeks vacation in Georgia, met some delightful friends including Mott and Star,,, Thank you all for making my visit so happy,, such beautiful scenery and courteous, friendly people,
