Where have the ladies gone?

I haven't been around much, so maybe this question is out of line. Where did all the ladies go? I came to say hello and have a few laughs and there were two ladies, who did not say a word. And a half dozen men or so that just stared into space.
I guess handsome young fellers scooped them up and stole them away.
If I just missed you ladies and gentlemen, hope life is treating you well.

Winter closes In

I have spent a good summer in peace and solitude the bay. Fishing and relaxing with the dogs has done good. Now, I find myself with a choice, go back or stay? If I stay I will stock and hunker down. Much like a fat old bear in his burrow, I will lumber about and nap.
I think I have reached an age where a quiet life is not a punishment. The outside world is filled with riots, protests, politicians and Covid 19, not much incentive go back.
Hope Y' are staying well. If I don't make it back down the mountain before then, Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas.

As it is bound to happen politics and debates are heating up. The world still suffers from Covid. Now in America we are having Riots. Protesting is never unjustified, rioting is. Let us keep in mind that some are raised with feelings and experiences we cannot even comprehend, and this can cause actions we cannot understand. Prayers to those struggling with emotions they cannot handle at this time. Pray for healing for our country.

Today I miss my wife. We used to spend long winters together in virtual isolation, somehow much better than actual isolation. She is long gone, but my heart still holds her close to me. I have the dogs for company, but have nor managed to teach them a single card game, but they did eat my battleship. I have cleaned rooms and closets and faced every last memory one can stand to face in such a short time. I long for the companionship of co workers and friends, the other old farts and their coffee. I miss a whisky at the Pub. Losing a little cash at pool now and then. I miss the things that have become my small way of life.
My prayers go out to everyone, to be safe and be well, remember we are all in this together. Don't rush things, the solitude and introspect will do us all well.
God Bless

I would like wish everyone a very blessed Easter during these times of trouble. Separated from family and feeling worrisome as I am certain we are, let us take a small moment take in our blessings. For there is not one of us who is not truly blessed.
Blessings come in many shapes and sizes. I know I have many. I have some that I use in turn help with blessing others. I thank you for them Lord. this holy day, I thank you.
Happy Easter everyone, I hope you can find some joy and small bit of wonderment. there must be some beauty left in this troubled world, some beauty come back when it is over.
May Your Blessing Be Many and Your Troubles Be Few.
With Love,
Marshall

Why seek revenge another member for finding someone they enjoy? Why get angry? Why seek destroy? Just because you are not a persons dream, why try destroy their happiness. This makes no sense.

Man and let go.

Woman and let go.

Stop trying to hurt people, just because they don't want you.

So I took my dogs on down to the lake, Oddly they never seem to mind the cold. Just play and putter in the water. wave after wave rolling into shore. while we are all so worried about being disconnected from the outside world, let us take a moment to reconnect with the inner one. Just breath deep the cool crisp air and fill your soul with energy to face these trying times. Remember you do not have to run faster than the bear, you just have to run faster than me......that is not so hard these days. Peace and Prayers for you all.

I am seeing people here where I live because of my work. My "job" is on lock down as of this morning. I also help out at a local food pantry among other things. There is going to be a greater need for this kind of help with places closing for 3 and possibly more weeks. A lot of lives will be lost. Many will face crisis like never before. I myself will be helping. I will take care of my own family first, but I will help others as much as possible.
Aside from current events, we must all be aware, that what we are experiencing now is potentially something we will face often in coming years. Biological warfare is real and has been used for centuries. Modern medicine has inadvertently created the "super bug". What we go through now, we will face again.
God Bless

Sitting in the corner of the kitchen, lifting my cup to the empty chair across from . You were there such a short time ago, or maybe it was years. I can still see your in every ray of the sun that streams through the window. I can still smell your scent in every breeze. Memories drift through my mind. Tears run down my cheek. I miss you!
