After we seen Max & Alex off safely JD & I went into a local restaurant for a fast GRAB & GO lunch This is pretty much the conversation;
Cashier; May I help you?
Me...Yes.. I'd like a half dozen nuggets, medium fries and a large chocolate shake.
Cashier; We only sell nuggets in 6* , 9* , and 12*
Me; ( I stood for a ,moment silent unable to honestly grasp the abject ignorance of the English language and lack of basic mathematics )
*SIX nuggets.....
JD just looked at me.... and placed his order.

Our educational system is an Abject Failure ! We are turning out people who are not equipped to perform elementary business transactions. Gawd Help US!

We made it to January of 2023. JD's birthday is on Friday the 27th.
Max & Alex must leave tomorrow. We have a major ice storm to hit between Highway *3 and 20 with areas that could get over a half inch of ice with some snow also accumulating.

My friend, looklook; a member from Dhaka, Bangladesh asked for some blogging information. Alex is helping me...... OR... I am helping Alex. We found we needed to use pictures to get around the ~~~Printing~~~ algarhythem of SFF.
This is how you make the font size and color.
IF you want to insert your pictures between your text you just add them in this manner numbering your photos to ,match where you want them in your script.
You may use up to *10* photos per blog
This is what the first line of my blog looks like establishing the size & color of my font with the placing of my first photo. I use the royalblue col.,or of font as a marker for ,most of my blogs ~~~ just like the "Red Riding Hoodie" has been my profile picture for many years.
ANYBODY ELSE with a question feel free to ask.. IF I can help answer it. Making our blogs more enjoyable and entertaining is my goal.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train came back for its 24th year supporting food banks and food shelves.
The Special Train raised money, food, and awareness for food pantry security issues.

Hi ! I am Alex. I am typing this for Bret he is not feeling good. My English and spelling is not best but Bret needed help. We went shopping. Found scarf to go with leather Jacket and match car. I drove the Mercedes Benz; as pretty as my BMW. Last night we ,made Watermelon Jelly ! I NEVER did that before. I try to do Bret's recipe.
Pealed and cut watermelon from store.
Watermelon not acidic enough for jelly. Need to add two oranges.
Juice oranges put pulp with watermelon in blender.
Strain mix through cullender with cloth.
You need sugar and SURE JELL
Sugar and SURE JELL will NOT mix have to add cold juice and stir.
You need 1cup of sugar for every cup of juice.
We have 32 oz. of juice... 4cups of sugar.

You need to bring the watermelon juice to a full rolling boil in the pot for at least a minute.
Sterilize your lids
and jars.
Fill each jar almost to the lid then tighten on the lid >TIGHT< We got 3.. 1/2 pints of Jelly

Sometimes the holiday tradition gets in the way. Even so far as to separate couples causing marital strife. JD & Alex like oyster stew.... Max and I would rather eat anything else BUT Oysters.
HOWEVER.... I dice up a few potatoes and bring to a slow boil.
I have a container of oysters from the store.
I dump the raw oysters in with the cooking potatoes for a brief boil... not too long or they will get tough.
I add a cup of cream, a few tablespoons of butter and some whole milk. Warm the milk just enough to melt the butter before you serve it.
This is how they like it served....

Many of us Gave... and Received... a wide variety of gifts this season from a handful of change into the Mall Santa's kettle, to dropping off a bag of cat or food at the local shelter, to wrapped gifts under the tree . JD's dad had been active with the Marines Toy's for Tots which we have maintained over the years.
That's NOT what I want to ask here.............; Alex brought me the SaaaWEETest present from Chicago........
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PRESENT / GIFT received or given.
This NOT a political Statement He found me a pair of sox that are so special I probably won't wear them.
