[COLOR blue][COLOR blue]Let us be clear about the basics; a man is a woman's provider and protector. Having said that I am not into controlling a woman and have no tolerance for a woman who seeks to control. I don't care if you are worth $millions, if you must be “in charge” please move on.
I ended a 10 year marriage in 2019 and moved to Arizona in June 2020 and I like it here. After a stressful breakup and dealing with a few previously undiagnosed health issues I've lost 30+ pounds, have gotten in reasonable shape again and am now seeking the companionship of a reasonably fit female.[/COLOR]
I'm a Navy Veteran, college graduate have lived and worked in 30+ countries, have a salt-n-pepper beard, drive a pickup truck and have and have a warped sense of humor. I am the optimistic type and tend to laugh a lot and am seeking a companion to share laughter with. After the current international sh*t show runs its course and burns out I am confident that better times are coming.
One strange thing I've seen is that some women say is that they must feel “Chemistry” or “that spark” on the first date. Except for widows, are we not here due to a perhaps not-well-thought-out decision years ago? If not, how is that "spark" working out for you now?
I like going out at times but I got the "loud nightclub scene" out of my system years ago. These days I like Road Trips, BBQs, happy hour and Standup Comedy. Nothing better than a group of friends / family sitting around the table exchanging funny stories and cracking jokes.
I have taken very few vacations in this lifetime but I have a well-worn passport. I’ve worked in Asia, Europe, Russia, Africa and the Middle East. I still need to see Australia, South America and Antarctica before I check out. Perhaps we could visit them together?
I’m not the powerhouse I used to be as a but I have a flat stomach and I’m in much better physical shape than the average guy my age and I seek like women. I very much appreciate women who are conscious about their appearance and work to keep themselves fit. At our age I understand that we aren't the perfect physical specimens that we were in our 20's, but I keep trying to improve & hope you do also.
I like taking responsibility for things that guys traditionally do around the house like yard work and repair projects. I’m also a bit of a computer geek which means I'm Technical Support for friends & family. I do appreciate a woman who can cook because I’m not so good at that, but I’ll clean up afterward.
If you put pictures of seascapes, horses, pets, butterflies, sunsets, / grandkids on your profile kindly be advised that these do not help a man to sum you up.
A bit of friendly advice; we don’t really care about the types of music you listen to but we want to see how a woman looks. Men are visual creatures so it is important that we see the whole package (including your legs & hips) & not just close-ups of your face.
It’s so embarrassing to have to run out of a restaurant screaming in horror after one has encountered a 300 pound sweathog face to face after expecting to meet a petite Romanian gymnast.
I'm financially secure but I can spot Gold Diggers. If you are one, please go away & target that lonely, fat millionaire guy over there.
Women with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) please keep moving – who needs an Angry Woman who lets CNN do her thinking?
I don't smoke or do drugs but need a companion who does not object if I choose to have a few beers & a few laughs with friends (that seriously does upset some women).
I am an honest, responsible & straightforward guy who appreciates strong women who appreciate strong men - preferably with a kooky sense of humor.
I don’t own a TV because the crap programming, censorship and propaganda is just too boring. I’m not a sports fan because sports are fun to play but boring to watch. Since they cancelled the Big Bang Theory there is nothing on TV worth watching.

One last thought - please no High Maintenance Types. If jokes about body parts or associated commentary trigger you or make you feel uneasy please keep moving. I seek a mature woman who understands that life is short and humans need to not be hyper-sensitive.

My Ideal Person
My ideal woman is a 25 year old supermodel, but that's not going to happen. I turn 67 tomorrow so I have adjusted my expectations.
I must have a woman that I'm physically attracted to, who isn’t sexually inactive (like my ex) and isn't afraid to try new things.
Ideally a woman within 15 years of my age who is open to exploring swinging or at least a 3-some with another woman.
