In Progress 1/4/2005

A relationship in progress is a very nice time; it's new with no 'history' to spat about or, ideally, unrealistic expectations.

I have a few phone conversations with a lady I met online. We're the same age and earned our masters at the same school. We are both professionals and would like something more personal than those we must encounter daily.
...

Easier Said. 12/30/2004

There are times when it is harder to 'say' it than to 'do it' whatever the 'its' might be.

For example, when I told my lady 'it's over, ' it was a result of care reflection about how much more of myself was I willing to give to one who had no appreciation of love's meaning.

It was far more difficult to say than to follow up with action. ...

Jazz 12/26/2004

I can think of no better analogy to a personal relationship than jazz.

When I put on my musician's cap and sit in on a jazz session it is usually with musicians I'm performed with in the past. Relationship Construction? 12/24/2004

I have a theory about this concept. It is based on the fable, The Scorpion And The Frog.
According to Aesop, a frog hopped out onto a riverbank to be confronted by a scorpion. Response to :- Networks 10/5/2004

Building networks can have a dual effect. The exposure can help someone see and find you. I can't help but think you're being a little paranoid about harm coming to you. If this is the case I think it would sense you shouldn't even have your photo posted once. People can browse and find you and a network isn't needed to do this. The same people that can browse that can view networks.

Keeping your profile active 10/4/2004

I recently started dating a man . We met through this site. We live in the same city and have had several dates. I am completely taken with him. I told him it makes me feel insecure; he said until he feels "safe" (previous women have left him ...

Building a Bridge Between Australia and Iowa 9/19/2004

Resonse to: Online love. 9/8/2004

All this sounds rather romantic and I am sure it would make a good romance novel but wouldn't it be more productive to find a love that could be seen, felt, held and do other things with?
