Thanks for the great reminder. I will be voting at the poll because I want to see what is happening there, and I will be voting straight ticket anti Fascism with my TEETH
Hopefully not any aggressive “poll watchers”. Be safe!
@Mushroombbc6969 I believe it is in my state. Anyone who isn’t a designated, trained poll observer needs to stay 100 ft away.
@smartasswoman I am taking my tape measure too, and if they look to be to close, especially if they are a fascist promoting bubba with so much as a sling shot... I will challenge them and call 911 first. And you know what I will say? Book'em Dan'll. LOL

@AlyTal I wasn’t sure whether to put the laugh or love emoji on that (loving the tape measure, laughing at Book em Danno). So here’s both. 😂😅❤️💕
Hi Honey
I voted yesterday. i tell everyone they have to vote or they cannot complain. i love to complain.
I love to complain too, but I have to admit I'm fairly happy with my local reps.
@smartasswoman i wish i was happy with the critters we have.
Mature women are awesome, I got tired of 30,0000 college gals. Boring. Candy store and look and cannot touch. Daughter is safe in my classroom. Machines can be hacked.
Something I was told and didn’t think of is to check your printed ballot before scanning to make sure your correct selections are there. Maybe not malicious but a glitch in the system. We know how computers can be. Some have been caught.
That’s a very good idea. In my county we don’t have voting machines that print the ballots. Every voter gets a ballot and gets to fill in the little circles with a pen. Of course you could still make a mistake so it’s a good idea to check your work.
Daughter voted when home from college for fall break. Rest of us will do it Tuesday. Not bad idea for a pic for the blog.
Thanks for doing your civic duty. 😊
Love the I Voted pic wearing that blue bra. You looke lovely.
I plan on voting on election day. Today I got a text saying where I could confirm where I vote. Just checked to in case it changed from the primary election. (not trusting it would not change.)
Smart to do that. We always get a ton of people who are at the wrong voting location and we have to send them someplace different.
I did mail in voting cuz it’s sooooo easy, but I know it’s too late for that for most people
Good point, I would be seriously nervous about relying on the postal service at this point. Do in person voting, or drop off an absentee ballot at the elections office if that's an option.
I remember that post, such a milestone for your grandson!
OK smartass,Hmm that seems rude, anyway, always vote or you can't bitch about who did get in!
Not rude at all. 😊 And I agree that you can't complain if you didn't vote!
@smartasswoman Good,i'd hate to piss off a lady
My first election I voted in was in the 80's for President Ronald Reagan. I have not stopped voting against bad people and bad things since
Well...it's too bad you view it as voting against things but thanks for voting!
Very cute pics😘
Thanks!
@smartasswoman I would like to slide my vote tomorrow in between those lovely breasts😊
@fwblook4unow not operational as a vote scanner.
I hope that you have a peaceful democratic election.I like your badge it almost matches your lovely lips.
Thank you, I’m hoping for the same.
Like chickens voting for mc nuggets
Sorry that you feel so cynical about it.
Thanks for the beautiful girls 😍 I voted early also.
Thanks for voting!
Buenos dias, te gustan mayores?
Lo siento, pero no.
Good for you to vote early! I will be voting. I'm a die hard at the polls
Hugs!
We still get plenty of die-hards on Election Day. 😀
CA no longer gives a sticker to show that we voted. Now we get a Welcome Letter to serve as our receipt. Well...I don't know what they do at the polls...maybe they still give out stickers there. I've been a permanent absentee voter since the kids were born. But now, everyone is mailed a ballot without that designation. (Some of the newer voting laws have helped me to lose faith in the integrity of the system here.
What provisions have made you lose faith?
I think it's just that with the latest round of attempts to get people to actually come out to vote, they've left some gaping holes that allow lots of fraud. We have drop boxes that are regularly broken into; the mailed ballots are often stolen before they get delivered. The last vote we had earlier this year filled the news with these stories...as well as counting ballots for nearly a month after the polls closed.
It's a bit less than the transparent, strictly by-the-book methodology that I spend my entire day at work attempting to follow.
My father was a high power attorney and great man. He was 91 when I took him to vote last time. He said we should just throw our votes in the lake here. It was really sad. Election electronic machines were hacked in 15 minutes by a 14 year-old girl in Vegas at "hackers convention".
You’re weirding me out quite a bit. And I don’t care for election fraud conspiracy talk.
I just figured it out...ALERTS. Hi all!
I cannot figure out how to contact you people. This is all messed up. I guess I need to be invited? I won as Inspector of Elections and Constable. I did not even run for office. Just my former students wrote me in. Dad was so sick 24/7. Constable is cool job. It is actually like total Federal Marshall. I live in PA but if a judge sends me out, I can go arrest anyone in any state. I just need the warrant in my hand.
I have a PhD. I cannot figure out how to even get in this nice blog. Us professors considered social media career suicide. I am retired now. How do I chat with people.
Yes nice spot to put your button. I vote nice color bra.
Now go vote in your local elections.
@smartasswoman hey I did I did. May the. Winner do his or her job to the best of their ability
My father passed away this summer. I was elected as a Constable and Elections Officer. He was so sick I had to turn it down.
I’m sorry about your loss.
@smartasswoman
@smartasswoman Thank you, it was a bad summer.
I always do early voting! Too many times in the past, I had thing come up at the last minute preventing me from voting.
That’s a good reason!
