A Tale of Four Cell Phones

I just purchased my FORTH Cell phone this year.
This year I had a Phone with a Texas Number in Nevada, That Phone died, my option was to drive across town and get another one or purchase one right where I worked at.

Thus I ended up with a Phone with a Nevada Number in Arkansas. I soon discovered that the Nevada Phone didn't like those West Virginia Hills and the company liked to charge for services that I didn't access to. I fired them and replaced the Nevada Phone with a West Virginia tracfon.

I was offered employment in Virginia thus I had a West Virginia Cell Phone in Virginia. I soon discovered that prepaid is not economical.

So.............I now have a cell phone with a Virginia number in Virginia. I wonder how soon it will be before I move someplace else.

Today I purchased over 700 minutes for the West Virginia Tracfon. I used my WallyWorld Discount Card to buy long underwear, shirts, socks with some Valentine Candy. I shipped it off to my younger who resides in West Virginia with a note biding him Merry Christmas.

The sweet darling purchased his first cellphone and spoke to his girlfriend prime time and ran up an astronomical bill that he can't pay.

I Really don't NEED to cast a chart to determine that the Scorpio and I are NOT a love connection but I will cast chart just because I can.

The Date
Decemeber 29, 2007 5:15 PM East Coast Time
The Place: Lexington, Virginia

The Planetary Players

The Moon - The Libra
Saturn - The Scorpio

The Troubleshooting Virgo Moon is in the Fourth House - Longing for Home

Grouchy Old Saturn is also in Troubleshooting Virgo but in the third house looking for a Sibling. Retrograding Saturn is in opposition of Uranus.
OMG!!!!!

Eccentricities could challenge a potential relationship but the Scorpio will be reconciling with an old lover nevertheless.

Transition Girl is NOT who this Libra wants to be

I cast a chart for January 1, 2008 at Midnight in Lexington, Virginia

The Ascendant is 4 degrees Libra Keeping Company with the Moon at 19 degrees. The year 2008 will be a quest for emotional balance. Libra is always looking for romance and that will be the continuous reality in 2008.

The Sun is in Practical Capricorn keeping company with Mercury in the Fourth House. The Fourth House represents the Home Front. The Sun tells where we shine and Mercury is how we think. The Stars advise, "Capricorn Practicality on the home front will bring Shining Results.

The Libra Moon creates a Grand Trine with an Aquarius Neptune in the Fifth House and a Gemini Mars (However Retrograded it may be) in the 9th House. Aquarius is Knowledge. Neptune is Imagination and the Fifth House is Lovers, Pleasurable activities and . Mars is Action and the Ninth House is travel.

This could mean a trip to Disneyland in a place that I've been before. Is there a Disneyland in Texas? A Lover who is an Educator? Woo Hoo! but watched out for the Wounded Healer Chiron who also resides in the Fifth House. Oh Well! Life on Life's Terms

Virgo Saturn resides in Eleventh House in opposition with Uranus Pisces Uranus in the Sixth House.

Virgo is the Cosmic Troubleshooter - Saturn represents the Challenges of life. The Eleventh House is the Community. Uranus is Sudden Expected Changes. The Sixth HOuse can be health or work. Pisces is belief. It can also represent Addictions.

It's time to troubleshoot and take responsibility.

Interesting!

Christmas Day and the Pity Pot

Pity is the flattery the failure craves so that he may preserve his self-esteem. Somerset Maugham

It would be sooooooooooo easy to get on a Holiday Pity Pot this year.

So many unfulfilled expectations. A Love Connection went South. My two boys are all grown up, living in other states with agendas of their own. I am spending the Holiday Alone because WallyWorld is insisting that I take a day off.

Needless to say, If I REALLY wanted to be with folks, I would find a way. Two days ago, I climbed into bed early in anticipation of a hectic day at work. My ex-hubby called and said he was going to a friend's house and would meet me there. "I am undressed and in bed," I protested.

"Get dressed and come on over," he insisted. I reluctantly dressed and drove across town.

Our mutual friend bless her heart was drinking and wailing about how mean men are while cooking up a storm. Everyone else in the house was drinking. "That's Enough!" I thought, staying long enough to be polite before leaving.

On Christmas Day I went to work, came home - took three tylonol PM's with two Asprin and went to sleep.

Tonight I will take three tylonol PM's with two Asprin and go to sleep. I will go to work at 4am and Christmas of 2007 will be over.

I Think I am going to plant some pretty flowers in those pity pots.

Many people love to sit on their pity pot,
Yet, all they get are rings on their tushe.
They complain about the things they're not,
When all they need from their minds is push
Their self-defeating beliefs that hold them back.
Their self-destructive thoughts that create their lack.
Until they do, they'll sit on their pity pots,
Complaining about all the things they are not.

The Santas of Christmas Past????

The First Santa that I met was actually St. Nicholas who is much more regal looking that the Coca Cola Santa. I was an Army Brat in Germany.

It was the St. Nicholas Celebration which occurs a few weeks before Christmas. This German Speaking Santa visited House to House on St. Nicholas Day. He gave us Oranges versus a bunch of presents.

A few weeks later, we met Santa who resembled the Coca Cola Santa at the Military Post. He was my Dad!

Years later, My two sons and I lived on what was called "The Avenue" in Ventura, California. I was a single working Mom. Money was tight but we always managed to find happiness in the simplest things. That year, we went to three Christmas Parties.

The First Party was for members of The Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness, Inc. (GLAD).

My younger Billy and I are both Hard of Hearing

Santa spoke American Sign Language

The Second Party was held at my Younger 's After School Center. We lived among a Hispanic Commumity

Santa Spoke Spanish

el regalo los Reyes Magos
¡Feliz Navidad!

The Third Party was at the Community Center at the Park - My older pulled off Santa's Beard. Santa Declined to give him a present.

Afterwards the Party, I made Josh go apologize to Santa. Santa talked to Josh for quite some time.

Afterwards Josh commented, First Santa speaks Sign Language, Next Santa Speaks Spanish, and Next I get Lectured by Santa with a Fake Beard.

Billy Commented - Dah!!!! Santa is not just bi-lingual he's multilingual

THE NEXT YEAR.......... We joined Parents Without Partners where I was an officer. We acquired custody of the Santa Suit.

First we attended a Christmas Party for IBEW. Since I had a Santa Suit, Good Old Mum got elected to play. Santa was a Mime but managed a few "Ho Ho Ho's." After all Santa does know some Sign Language.

A week later, Santa went on a Hay Ride with the PWP group. Hey Mom, Josh Whispered, We won't tell these little that Santa is a cross dresser. Just say Ho Ho Ho and pass the hot chocolate.

The Love Planet Venus is Table Dancing with Independant Uranus with surprising results.

That Freedom Loving CCC eating Aquarius will find himself doing the Ring and Ceremony.

Uranus knocks folks out of their comfort zone and Folks will be inspired to take a few risks and make the move toward someone interesting.

Unpredictable Uranus has a way of upping the ante of any astrological event it is involved in. With Uranus at a favorable angle to Venus right now, the stakes of the love game go up.

"There may be someone that you are attracted to However................ there are a million reasons why it won't work.

Keep an open mind -- you could be in for the surprise of your life."

Politically Incorrect or Otherwise HOLYday Greetings

It can be one of those Dang If You Do and Dang If You Don't Scenarios. When it comes to holiday greetings, I am more interested in the WallyWorld customer's wishes than I am my own HOLYDay agenda.

It has been my experience that some Christians are more offended by being told, "Happy Holiday" than non-Christians are offended by being told "Merry Christmas"

Needless to say, if a customer comes in donning a long beard and yarmulke asking for Matzo Bread to stuff in his Turkey, I'll tell him "Happy Hanukkah!" If she's wearing a veil over her face and looking for sexy Corset to wear under her clothes - I would suggest the Victoria Secret Website and Wish her a Happy Holiday. If a group of bikers come in wearing nothing. I would admire their tattoos and simply tell them, "Thank You for shopping at Wal-Mart!!!"

Some folks are offended by the X-Mas versus Christmas. It is believed that the term is part of an effort to "take Christ out of Christmas" and an attempt by retailers secularize of Christmas.

In reality the X was a term in ancient culture including the Greeks that actually represented Christ.

Therefore

HAPPY X-MAS and A MERRY HOLYDay to ALL!!!!!

Question - Is Virginia Really For Lovers

The Chart is Cast
December 15th - 7:45 PM
Alleghany County, Virginia

The Sun is in FreeSpirited Sagittarius and the Ascendant is also in Sagittarius.

The Main Player is dermined by the Traditonal Ruler of the First House.

This is Jupiter which is in the first house keeping company with Pluto.

The Second Player is determined by the Traditional Ruler of the Seventh House.

This is Mercury which is keeping company with the Sun in the 12th House.
Mr. Mercury is in the Hot Seat with a Secret Agenda.

The Moon which indicates the overall energy of the question is in logical Aquarius but getting ready to step into Vulnerable Pisces. The Moon is Salsa Dancing with Chiron. Oh My!!!!

The tendancy to intellectize feeling will come to the surface allowing us to reveal our true emotions to our closest intimates.

Venus and Mars the cosmic lovers are in a hormonous dance with each other but both doing a stressful Menage A Trois with wounded Chiron increasing emotional vulnerability.

There will be a tendency to want to shy away from intense encounters but revealing them will actually promote healing.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 - Oct 22)
It's not easy to keep everything light and easy today, even if life is looking sweet. Any unexpressed resentments can negatively influence your closest relationships now, yet you have a chance to clean up old stuff by bringing your feelings out into the open. This can feel quite scary, but it's your ultimate ticket to love.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 - Nov 21)
Jealousy might rear its ugly head today if you let your memory of a hurtful past event spill out into the present moment. If you are unsure of your position in an important relationship, check it out through open discussion, rather than underhandedly pushing a situation toward critical mass. Remember, an emotional meltdown won't stabilize the love in your life, so avoid acting on your fears.

How to sell More Cookbooks! at WallyWorld!!!

I was in the chatroom - talking about the customers at WallyWorld kept asking me how to cook the Turkeys and Hams that they were buying.

A Wal-mart Associate I am but a Domestic Goddess I am not. Belle suggested that I sell them a cookbook. The past week when a customer asks me how to cook a Turkey, Duck, Ham, Catfish, Ad Infinitum - I simply suggest that they check out the cookbooks.

There was a meetings and it was reported that the Cookbook sales have increased by 70 percent in the past few days. There are some folks who bellyache about the commericalism of Christmas and the Holidays............However, when you are a WallyWorld Associate into profit sharing with a car that needs a new Rack and Pinion, increased Sales is a good thing.

I am sure that Martha Stewart can give better advise on how to cook a Turkey than I can.

I actually did manage to cook a Turkey yesterday. I am sharing a house with two other women. A friend donated a 17 pound turkey some someone bought a bunch of day old bread. One woman will be spending Christmas with her family. I am not sure what the other woman is doing but I plan on a quiet Christmas. Midnight Mass is the extent of my celebration.

I decided to cook the Turkey just to get it out of the freezer. I followed Destiny's advise and stuck it water overnight to thaw. I put dried appies, walnuts, frozen onions and peppers peppers in the Day Old Bread. I stuffed it inside the Turkey. I put the whole thing inside a cooking bag in a big pan and followed the directions on the label. 324 for four hours.

The stuffing was really aweful, The Day Old RYE bread may have been a mistake. We threw that away but at least we'll be having turkey sandwiches for the rest of the month.

The Lesson of Advent in the Land of Virginia is for Lovers

Thus Far Virginia has been more of a work connection for me versus a love connection but that's okay. Work is good. Self Supporting though one's one contributions is good.

Community is something that I value. There are always communities within communities. The Spiritual Community and the 12 Step Community are my main Source of strength. I have always been able to find a 12 Step Community no matter where I do.

However I do miss my West Virginia Quaker Group and I miss the Unitarians. Nevertheless, my 12 Step Training teaches me to bloom where I am planted. Thank God, I am no longer planted in Silver Springs, Nevada.

For the last two weeks, I've attended services at an Episcopal Church. After I had been a teetotaler for five years, I decided that I needed a religion. I researched the different religions from a college textbook and statically Episcopalians were the most educated. So I started attending confirmations classes.

Later on, I discovered that the Unitarians fit more with my freespirited beliefs but it can be a major challege find a group in BibleBelt USA.

Thus I've been attending the Episcopal Church since moving to the Commonwealth of Virginia. We've been observing the Advent Season which a four week celebration before the arrival of Christmas.

A Pine Wreath is made which represents the Circle of God.

The First Candle Represents HOPE.
My Hopes in Life. Hopes for Love and Community.
Hopes for my sons, especially my younger who is stuggles with alcoholism and addictions.

The Second Candle Represents PEACE
An inner Peace that everything is going to be okay no matter what the outside looks like.

The Third Candle Represents JOY
Joy that I have a job, a roof over my head and a car that gets me from point A to point B. Joy that I have a job which will allow me to buy a Rack and Pinion for the Car so that I can get to Point C.

The Forth Candle is for LOVE - The fact that even though the that I love is struggle with alcoholism at least he searching for the right direction. Eventually, he will realize that his Mum has been steering him right all alone.

and the Final Candle is the Promise - Yule is the darkest time of the year but it's also the time when the Light starts growing stronger.[/SIZE]

El Paso, Texas has an active Unitarian Church with a Zen Buddist Mediation Center. It sounds like a great place to be but right now I am suppose to be in Virginia with the Espiscopalians. Life on Life's Terms
