Two priests decided go Hawaii on vacation.

They were determined make this a real vacation by not wearing anything that would identify them as clergy.

As soon as the plane landed, they headed a store and bought shorts, shirts, sandals, sunglasses, etc.

The next morning, they went to the beach, dressed in their "tourist" garb. They were sitting on beach chairs, enjoying a drink, the sunshine and the scenery when a "drop dead gorgeous" topless blonde in a thong bikini came walking straight towards them. They couldn't help but stare.

As the blonde passed them, she smiled and said "good morning, Father, good morning, Father," nodding and addressing each of them individually, then passed on by.

They were both stunned. How in the world did she know they were priests?

So the next day, they went back to the store & bought even more
outrageous outfits. These were so loud you could hear them before you even saw them.

Once again the two priests settled on the beach in their chairs to enjoy the sunshine. After a while, the same gorgeous topless blonde, wearing a string, taking her sweet time, came walking toward them.

Again, she nodded at each of them, said "good morning, Father" and started to walk away.

One of the priests couldn't stand it any longer and said. "Just a minute lady.

"Yes?" she replied.

"We are priests, and proud of it, but I have know, how in the world did you know we are priests dressed as we are?"

GUESS WHAT SHE SAID …HA HA HA HA

The blonde turned around and replied, "Father, it's me, Sister Angela!"

- Hilarious or what!!?!! - LMAO

Old Christmas that is........

January 7th 2008

When my sons were youngsters, we would often celebrate Christmas on an alternative date so that they could enjoy a celebration on the traditional December 25th date with the other parent. My Husband and I would go out for Chinese on Christmas Day.

Thus my boys are used to a non-traditional spin on the Holidays. My Older is in Georgia and My Younger is in West Virginia.

So............ I took advantage of the after Christmas sales and My WallyWorld Associates Discount. I put 700 minutes on my old Tracfon with the West Virginia Number - wrapped it up in some long underwear, socks and Valentine Candy. I sent them off with my now ex-hubby who delivered them to my youngest .

I sent several items to my older and his peach in Georgia. Fun Items. A Stuffed Monkey holding a blanket and a stuffed Zebra Pillow. Candles and Boxes of Flavored Popcorn. Romantic Valentine Items. (It's so cool because I actually got to send them Valentines stuff for Christmas) I sent them pretty ribbons with jungle bells. Gift Certificate to Arby's and Dairy Queen. His favorite place and her favorite place. There nothing overly expensive but things to make them smile.

I picked up the boxes to mail them in at WallyWorld. One a box that used for containing Brown Bacon and the Other for Hillshire Smokies.

I decided to walk the few blocks to the Post Office rather than driving. One gentleman in the post office commented that I must work out in a gym to be able to lift that box. "Actually.....I work out at WallyWorld and get for it," I cheerfully informed him.

Earlier that morning, that box that contained my 's stuffed monkey and zebra actually full of bacon. The box was bulky but not heavy with the presents. If it had bacon instead of presents, I would be driving to the UPS Office versus walking to the Post Office.

I aways a bit extra to get Delivery Confirmation which allows me to check the route of the packages on-line

Thus Far the Presents were
Acceptance COVINGTON VA 01/03/08 4:07pm

Processed CHARLOTTESVILLE VA 01/03/08 9:55pm

Dang! My 's presents made it to Charlottesville VA before I did. Charlottesville and Thomas Jefferson's Former Home Monticello are my Mecca. I also to visit the Hamton Inn which is the site of Sally Hemming's Final Abode. If Thomas Jefferson slept there, so can I

The Kind Heart pins were given out to the participants for the 2017 Women's March in Washington D.C. There were some who encouraged boycotting Penzey Spice for their liberal stance. I personally do not boycott a company because of politics. The pins were mailed to me and I passed them out to the women on the rally bus. I also decided to order some spices and even sent some to my -in-law.

The Korean War Memorial is one of the more intense war memorials in Washington D.C. North Korea is one of the less desirable tourist place. According to the media it's a terrible place to live. There are no Bill of Rights in North Korea only the whims of a dictator.

Back in 2003, the SFF folks on the Patio in the Magazine were doing bu++ photos and posting them. I managed to get this one with a web cam photo. It was funny seeing all the bu++ photos. I am sure the humorless trolls had something to criticize and carp about. There is a song that comes to mind for them.

The Goodby Junk Food Road Show - TB Thursday

The Best Advise I ever got came from my 12 Step Sponsor's Husband. "If you get emotionally involved and it kicks your A$$........... Don't Drink!"

So two marriages and several heartbreaks later, I put the plug in the jug and never looked back. Life is so much easier being a teetotaler.

However..............Ben & Jerry Ice Cream is another story. There have been times when I have been feeling blue and a carton of Ice Cream was the fix. It doesn't have the consequences of too much vodka but there are consequences none the less.

The challenge is that the longer I am a teetotaler, the narrower the road gets. I am far more sensitive to toxins. Toxic jobs, toxic people, toxic places and even toxic foods and TROLLS.

My Higher Power has a wicked sense of humor. Last year I had emergency surgery. I am REALLY sensitive to certain foods which has physical consequences. The concept of comfort food is no more. Still - I REALLY REALLY like Ice Cream. I don't bring it into the house. Macadamia Cookies are also yummy.

I don't know what could cause more trouble - Scantily clad men or platters of chocolate.

S0............. I was in Atlanta for two weeks in November. My girlfriend accidently unplugged my refrigerator. I came home and had to clean the refrigerator and throw everything out.. This was a blessing in disguise. Toxic food out - Healthy food in and a sparkling refrigerator to boot.

My girlfriend also turned me on to a show called my 600 lb life. Contrary to what a certain jailbird troll likes to broadcast about me - I have never been that morbidly obese. Sometimes I listen to some of the folks in the show run their mouths and they sound like addicts that I've heard in XII Step Meetings. I feel like telling them to STFU!!!! I applaud anyone who makes it but there are so many train wrecks on that show.

Still, I listen to the advice that Dr. Now and the dieticians give them. I follow that advice. I am on a few discussion groups for the show on FB. I was able to connect to a XII Step Website that deals with that issue with virtual zOOm meetings. So not only is it the Goodby Junk Food Road Show - It's Goodby white flour and sugar. Life on life's terms.

Eagles, Crows, Trolls, & CRYSTALS (C&P)

The only bird that dares to peck at an eagle is the crow.He sits on the eagle's back and bites at his nec

However, the eagle does not respond, nor fight with the crow. It doesn't waste time or energy on the crow! It simply opens its wings and begins to rise higher and higher into the heavens.

The higher the eagle flies, the harder it is for the crow to breathe and then the crow falls due to lack of oxygen.

We all have a crow or two in our life that offers negative energy or criticism, usually behind your back, that's what crows do. Stop wasting your time and energy with the crows. Just take them to your heights and they'll surely fade.

Higher Self, Shadow Self, Magick & CRYSTALS

The Higher Self and Shadow Self are terms that I've heard and used but never attributed them to Jung. I decided to research Jung and found a video comparing Jungian Archetypes to the different tarot card. That's interesting.

Tarot is simply tapping into intuition which we all have.

Jung talks about the Self which is what folks present to the world. The Shadow Self is what folks keep hidden - sometimes even from themselves.

I've always seem them as the Angel and Devil that sit on opposite sides on each shoulder. "Taking the High Road is the right thing to do" thus says the Angel. "But the Low Road" is so much more satisfactory" thus says the Devil on my shoulder.

The struggle is real!!!!!

Magick is defined as influencing the course of events using mysterious or supernatural forces. Personally, I don't think it's all that supernatural. It is simply the affirmation and visualization of a desired outcome. It goes out into the cosmos - and sometimes it actually works. People do it all the time. If I chant something while holding a crystal it just makes for a stronger visualization.

Joyous Body, The Wild Flesh and Body Shaming

A blog that has now been deleted pointed out the fact that Star is "no spring chicken" and very fat. Interesting - I am on a site called "SENIOR Friend Finders." Dah!!!

I am grateful that I have survived long enough to reach my late SlXTIES pushing LXX. I have many family members who were not so fortunate. While compulsive and destructive eating disorders that distort body size and body image are real and tragic, they are NOT the norm for most folks.

Most folks are big, small, short, tall, wide or narrow are that way simply because of genetics. It is ridiculous to a shame a person because their body is too much of this or not enough of that.

I have often joked about my politically incorrect curves. I have never been a skinny Minnie nor do I ever plan to become one. Indeed, I am no Spring Chicken and my metabolism has slowed down. I am also retired thus not as active as I used to be. I used to sling around FlFTY boxes of products for stocking in grocery shelves and run three miles a day. I would participate in running events although I was never built for speed.

Indeed, those politically incorrect curves have expanded to the point where it could affect my health. Last year I had emergency surgery. It was a Nissen Fundoplication for Hiatal Hernia Repair but actually works like a Gastric Sleeve Surgery which results in the reduction of the stomach.

Yea Haw!!!! I CAN"T eat excessive amounts of food. Still, it would be counterproductive to fill that reduced stomach with pizza even with pineapple.
I ALWAYS look for X!! Step Solutions along with the Goodbye Junk Food Journey followed by No Sugar/White Flour or other wheat products.

It's not about body shape or size, it's about health. Yes! I've lost several close family members because of complications from compulsive, destructive, eating disorders. They deserve compassion not shaming.

A few years back, I at the local produce store and found a Java Plant. I also acquired a Jade Plant from a cutting from a friend's Jade Plant who received her Jade Plant from a cutting from another friend's. I mailed a cutting to Mrs. Joe and now that plant is flourishing.

It is really ironic because there is a SFF blogger who always shows disdain for anything spiritual or religious. Ironically, when I described Thomas Jefferson's Abode as My Mecca, she brought to my attention that I being disrespectful toward the Islamic religion by calling Monticello Mecca.

I finally did end up living in Charlottesville, Virginia and went to Monticello quite often. There were some really awesome hiking trails surrounding Monticello and a photo of my "Shadow Self" in the Slave Graveyard at Monticello.

I found out that my Father the captain of his high school wrestling team. He is the very last one in the bottom row at the far right. He enlisted in the Navy after graduating from high school and worked in the gallery on the ship. When he finished his term in the Navy. He enlisted in the Army where he became an MP (Military Police).

Growing up, Father taught me and my siblings obnoxious marching tunes. We also had to salute and stand an ease for him. He could never get my salute him. My could cuss like a sailor and I am sure that scared poor Sargeant Dad.

The Year MMXIII - Grumpy died. I having a really hard time with grief one night. I could actually hear and feel my Pa. He said, "You don't worry. We are taking care of your grumpy azzzzzzzz husband. He fits right in with our family. We are up here cracking jokes together. That the night that my Dad officially became my guardian angel.

A few months later, I decided to take a trip to Washington D.C. I stayed at the William Penn House and decided to run the War Memorial to honor Sargeant Dad. I was walking back to the William Penn House at about midnight and encountered a cab driver thought I was a . I was in my late 50's in running attire. was no way I resembled a lady of the night. I called him a few politically incorrect words minus the euphemisms. He got scared and ran away. I don't know what scared him more - my profanity or perhaps Sargeant Dad tapping on his shoulder and saying "BOO!!!!!"
