The sun coming up through the trees outside my bedroom window this morning.......a definite crispness in the air.......We won't be having our usual extended family gathering this year, we will have to practice Gratitude at a distance. We had a family pow-wow on Saturday....we have been spreading out the lawn-chairs and hanging out with each other, but this time was shorter, as we all felt a bit chilly.......

So CP's blog about the prophet got me thinking about the New Age silliness when many people were believing in all sorts of other-dimensional nonsense.....remember Crop Circles.?...and all the books by people claiming they were Psychic and were in touch with spirits on the "other side"?.......I'm going to post the stories in the comments so words don't disappear.........

Last week I saw a news clip of a crowd of maskless, packed people having a pro-Trump, Save the rally.....Florida I think......There were many small among the crowd...and their mothers and fathers......They were waving Q-anon signs, wearing Q T-shirts...shouting over each other....some with megaphones......standing near a busy highway, some cars honking in support.....A reporter was asking a young mother with in tow why she was there......She said they were supporting Trump because he's saving the ......reporter asked what she was talking about and she went off on a breathless rant about underground cabal of celebrities that were sexually abusing and eating them and Trump was saving the ....he was doing this behind the scenes, because, you know, he's such a modest person..........
Then there's Trump, who has re-tweeted many Q-anon tropes and there are many Q signs, shirts and hats at his rallies........He was asked at a press-briefing about what he thinks of Q......He says he doesn't know anything about them, but "they like me"....He says this and his tone of voice and his body-language and facial expression is exactly that of a 6 year who got a bunch of Valentine cards from his classmates......The president of the US once again demonstrating vast pride in his ignorance......
Anyways, my concern, as always, is with the .....These people are hyper-focused on a Conspiracy theory .........and the president is fanning the flames of insanity........The in actual danger are the ones whose parents have left reality and think that Covid is a hoax, but there are -traffickers, molesters and cannibals around every corner........
