I just put up a post about how close your family was growing up. I am one of 3 siblings but several who responded seem to have many sisters and brothers. Tell us, what was it like being one of many if you come from one of those large families? Where did you fit in, youngest or oldest or somewhere in the middle? Does birth order matter especially in large families?

My parents and sister and I were always close. Since my dad died, I am very close to my mother and sister. My sister and I have similar tastes and went on holiday together in 2014. My brother, on the other hand, is 8 years older and as I was growing up he was out with his friends. I hardly saw him.
How close were you with your immediate family as you were growing up? Do you think that affected how you turned out? Are you still close to your family?

STAYING QUIET 10 DAYS HELPED

For those that asked me, I had a follow-up appointment with my ENT. He is the one that told me to not talk for 10 days. Not an easy task. Anyhow the good news is that it really did help. He said things improved a lot. I have to see him in 3 months but he saw nothing alarming and no tests required. Thanks for all the concern from my SFF friends.  I have other medical stuff going on that will keep me busy for a month or so, but I will try to be here when possible.

When you were younger, did you listen to your parents or were you a rebel? Looking back, were your parents right about the big things that you argued with them about? Are you the same type of parent that you had?
I always try to answer the questions I pose. I was always a "good" girl but inside was a wild one trying to get out. It was only when I met my first boyfriend that I showed some rebellion. When he left to go back to his home in Ottawa, I went with him. He was in Montreal for the summer Olympics in 1976. He was my supervisor for my summer job there. It was the most romantic summer and years to come of my life. He was my first love.
My mother didn't want me to stop school for 1 year so I continued and graduated. Personally, I think stopping and working for 1 year like i wanted to do, wouldn't have been a bad idea. I have no so I can't answer the last question.

I have thought about this one question before. Even if it meant having money beyond my wildest dreams and getting everything done for me and more, I would not give up my freedom to be a member of the royal family. Now of course if I were a distant cousin and had those privileges without being watched whenever I left my house, of course I would want that. What about you?
What about being a celebrity? Would you like to have fans everywhere you go and to be treated better than others? I have had a touch of that online due to being an erotica author. It's great to receive fan mail BUT in person, that would be a different matter. You can't eat a meal without someone noticing you or asking for an autograph. This one is hard for me to answer because I would love to write the next great Canadian novel and become wealthy. With money, one can take care of those they love and so much more. Would you like to be a celebrity and recognized by so many?
