Today is my boyfriend's birthday so I'm taking him to his favorite restaurant.

i was thinking about this the other day, after Justin Trudeau became Canada's next Prime Minister. He is going back to the same house on 24 Sussex Drive that he lived in when his dad Pierre Elliott Trudeau was Prime Minister. How will he feel being there again? I remember when I lived in Montreal and moved from one area of town to another. I went back to my former area years later and it felt strange and yet familiar. Have you ever gone back to where you were raised? How was the experience? Are you glad you went?
By the way, I know I haven't been here much lately but it seems that I've had a comment (Pat's blog) disappear and my face isn't showing on my comments to anyone. I wrote customer service about that so it might be back up shortly. I don't see my blog on the blog's list either. I may have been inactive but I haven't disappeared, have i?

Remember my post about the strangest message I ever received? I was wrong. This beat that. A guy wrote and said "Hi sweetheart" and I replied "Hi". His answer to that was:

"Surely you Michael amartey have changed your greeting to sweetheart from angel. You are in imposter you have stolen this account but I will make sure no one discloses there personal information to you. People have got to ask why cant you create your own account why steel someone else's and why does Sarah amarteywNt iain burns to set her up with an account"
I have no idea what he is talking about so this time I did write to SFF by choosing the option to report abuse. Did others get this one too or is he mixing me up with someone?
Have a great weekend. I normally would be going out for my birthday tomorrow but due to my mom's radiation, I don't want her to have to go out. We'll celebrate at home with my family and boyfriend. That's all I need to be happy. My mom is feeling fine.

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY

Tomorrow starts my mom's radiation so for those that said they'd pray for her, it runs Monday - Friday for 3 weeks in a row. It's for a benign growth to prevent blindness in one eye. She is 89 years old and I have to admit given she had brain surgery 7 years ago, I feel sick they will be doing this to her. Thank you to all that offered their well wishes.

Today marks an historic event. Queen Elizabeth II's reign is now officially the longest ever for a British monarch, surpassing the record of Queen Victoria. As an article I read stated:
"The 89-year-old monarch officially surpassed the 63 years and 216 days that her great-great-grandmother Victoria reigned."
Love her or hate her, I think this is a significant event and I have always been very impressed by the dedication she has shown.
The 4th picture below is Queen Elizabeth around the time of her Coronation February 6, 1952.

A VIRTUAL LIFE

I've done quite a few different things in my life and one of them has been a but only in a virtual world. The money was real though.  There is something called RLC which stands for Red Light Center. It's actually a fun place and I haven't been there in years. The other day someone asked me to join them there so I did. It's free but if you want virtual sex and some other things, you have to pay. There is also a place called Second Life (or something like that). I haven't been there in ages either.
Anyhow, I thought for those that enjoy internet fun, you might like to be there. If you do, have a great time. Have you ever made an avatar to represent yourself and been in a virtual world?

I remember when I was younger and someone yelled out my sister's name. They thought I was my sister. To this day, everyone asks us if we are twins. Then they ask me my least favorite question: "Who's older?" My sister loves that. I'm younger than she is so she finds that amusing but It annoys me.
Anyhow, I saw this article about a site called Twin Strangers and it showed 2 people who aren't related and yet they look the same. Seems there is a site that finds your lookalike. I may join up one day but if I hear "Who's older?" and there's someone like me besides my sister, I may hit the roof. lol
What do you think about all this? Would you like to find someone who looks like you?

PRAYERS REQUESTED

I was debating about whether to share what's been going on with my mother. I then thought about what happened with my Aunt's friend and with Rae (Niles). My Aunt's friend is doing well, despite the odds against that happening. Rae's tumor turned out to be benign. So I decided that prayers could work and can't hurt.
My mother, some may remember, is 89 years old and had a benign brain tumour removed 7 years ago . She had to learn to walk again and did. It turns out she had a small benign tumor besides that one. It showed up on the MRI and the doctor wasn't concerned since it was so small. On followup MRIs for her brain tumour, nothing was said about it and honestly, we all forgot about it. On the followup MRI she had recently, things changed. The tumor quadrupled and she was sent to a radiation oncologist. It is benign but it's close to one eye. Left untreated, she would suffer vision problems that would lead to blindness. The recommendation was to have radiation. She will most likely have it in about 2 or 3 weeks (we'll know later this week), and it is supposed to take 3 weeks M-F to complete it.
I am asking for prayers for my mother if you would be so kind as to do that. Her name is Lottie. Thanks for all the prayers in advance. It will be very much appreciated.

SOMETHING I FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT

There is something that's always bothered me in the legal system. To me, the punishment should fit the crime. I just read about a woman who is the youngest mass murderer in Canada. At age 12, her and her boyfriend killed her parents and brother due to problems caused by her dating an older man. She is getting paroled next spring and will be out after only 10 years. Three people, her family no less, are dead and she got a total of 10 years? That disgusts me.
It reminds me of when I was a . My mother felt we should stand up for ourselves. A male friend and I had an argument. He hit me. I hit him back. His grandmother came on the balcony since he was crying. She yelled at me about how I could hit a younger . I was about 1 year older but shorter and a girl. I answered that if he's old enough to hit me, he was old enough to get hit back. Know what? She respected my answer and never bothered me again.
It's sad that if a does something unspeakable, their punishment is significantly less due to age. The boyfriend was given a life sentence with no chance of parol for 25 years. That's what she should have received, in my opinion. What do you think?
