2 Years,, And Counting,,, Well Almost,,

Hard to believe that I have been on SFF for almost 2 years now. Doesn't seem like it.
In the time that I've been here, I have made many Friends and just recently met 2 in person. I'm not a "name dropper" so no need to ash who,, just suffice it to say, Friendships were solidified and we'll leave it at that.
Over the past 2 years I have found that quite a few of us share a passion for art and creating art. I work with wood to create wind chimes which I have shred with many and received quite a few compliments on them. I Thank you for those. Others work with paint or other mediums. There are also a few musicians/singers.
There is a wealth of talent here on SFF from art to writing and I am both Honor and Flattered to be counted among them.
I've said this often and I truly mean it with every fiber of my heart,, I cherish my Friends, they are more precious to me than all the gold and jewels in the world. I may never get to meet all those whom I call Friend in person, this web site may be all that we ever have to stay in contact with, share our lives with but none the less,, If I've considered you a Friend or you me,, then nothing else matters,,, but who knows,,, perhaps one day,,,,,
Aside from C-19, 2020 has been a Great year for me and I can only hope things improve,, we'll see, but for now, I'll take one day at a time and accept whatever comes my way.
So,, Dear Friends,, know that you are Loved, Cherished and Deeply Respected and you each hold a Special place within my heart.

Where Do We Go From Here?

This year, for at least, started out great. I set some goals. I have accomplished 3 so far. Paid off my motorcycle, acquired the funds I needed for a trip in August and made my reservations. I hope to have one more goal completed by the end of July,,, we'll see.
Big question is, Where do we go from here? With Covid-19 on the rise in some if not 50 states as well as in other Countries, boarders are being closed, most vacation spots are closed or allowing only limited access.
Because of C-19, many State and Local Governments have made it mandatory to wear a face mask or covering in public places such as restaurants, grocery stores, department stores and even parks plus you have to maintain "social distancing", which really is a significant issue, especially where it pertains to dating.
We, as human beings, are a "social" species. We want and NEED physical contact with other humans. Be it a hardy handshake, a friendly hug not only from relatives but close Friends as well, a kiss and yes,, even sex,,, we want, need and MUST have some if not all of the afore mentioned actions.
I feel bad for ALL the Graduating Seniors of High School and College. They were denied the Honor and Privalidge of walking across the stage to receive their Diplomas/Degrees and unable to attend their Senior Proms. And Here's a thought,,,,,,
Wouldn't it great if the Seniors of 2021 invited the Class of 2020 to their Prom? Personally I think it would be nice, but I'm just one person, I'd like to think others feel the same way,, who knows,,, maybe.
Until this mess slows down and or IF they find and develop a vaccine, guess we'll have to make do with texting and rooms,, one can only hope "they" do it sooner than later.

I decided to shave off my beard for accouple of months. The right side has always been rather thin compared to the left. I'm hoping it'll thicken up after two months of shaving everyday... We'll see. I will let it regrow. It should be back out by mid July. Drop me line and let me know what you think,,, or not,,, your choice.

A Letter to my Friends,,,

Dear Friends,
Please forgive me. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been in a bit of a slump. I haven't felt very "social" and rather than bring you good folks down, I chose to stay away for a few days. It has nothing to do with anyone or anything,, It's me.
I truly care about each and everyone of you, some more than I probably have a right to but none the less,,
I am my own worst enemy and critic. Like everyone else, I have my good days and bad, but seems lately that I've had more bad than good.
I hate feeling the way I do right now, and I know that the only person who can change it is me,, and I will,, I just ask that you bare with me and be patient,, I WILL get through this.
With Profound Love, Honor and Respect,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Rebel

Here is the laptop caddy I made. They're simple to make. I don't use nails or brads to put them together, I use bamboo skewers as pins and really good wood glue. I tried for a Celtic design, got close, just not quite there yet but I won't give up trying.
