It has been 3 yrs. -3 months since my wife passed away. During our time together she had asked me to writer a poem to her, about her,, Regrettably, I was never able to,,, until now. We had 15 wonderful together. Many of you, like myself have known the loss of a Loved one so I know you'll understand the words,,, grab your tissues for this one.
Silent Tears
Shed in darkness No one hears The deafening sound Of silent tears
In darkness, long and deep A broken heart at my feet Shattered dreams upon the floor Of a Love that is no more
Memories of long ago Like the tides They ebb and flow
A love so pure and deep Now it's gone And I weep
Shed in darkness No one hears The deafening sound Of silent tears

I've been in the construction field for 36 . Had many Employers, some I liked,, some,, well, I won't go there. In all those I can honestly say that I've NEVER had the relationship with ANY employer like I have with my present one. He's more than just my Employer,, He's my Friend and I'm Grateful for it. I have earned his Resect and he mine. Last week, he gave my Christmas Bonus,, Today he presented with the following photo. It's a Plasma Cutter. It's like an oxyacetylene torch but way more efficient and economical as it requires no acetylene, only an air compressor and an electrical currant. You may have seen or may even have one in your home,, those metal silhouettes,, those were cut out using a plasma cutter. Can't wait to start using it.....
