I did not have any plans for the day, just take it easy and enjoy what I see around me. Coaches passing by in the afternoon, caught my attention. As I often think, you never know what comes around the corner!
I took photos of my fall bouquet, the red nc myrtle tree in front of the house, saved a photo my sent of the peace in their garden. Her family came back from a looong vacation earlier than expected. And then this little parade came along.

One talking point was, when I will get my new passport, which expired a year ago.
Bureaucracy made me almost give up..... Now all problems seem to be solved and this necessary document will come my way end of this month or October, finally....

Above The Clouds
Wind north-east on runway two,
I hear the engines surge of power,
She thunders through my field of view,
At a hundred miles an hour.
And the rain-soaked asphalt quakes,
Veils of spray obscure the midline,
Wheels lift and off she takes

Above the clouds

I keep watching her for some time,
See her climbing up the clouds, slowly disappearing
When her tail lights fade to grey,
She's out of sight, not out of hearing.....
The rumbling fades, I turn away,
The smell of coffee wafts my way
From the airtraffic control .
In the puddles kerosene
Reflects the clouds in swirling rainbows,
I guess my heart wished
To be aboard and fly with them.

Today I read an article about new products capturing the markets, that are made with all kinds of insects. School meals with edible bugs are the latest idea to feed the . I searched for more information, found images of meals and recipes.......
These 'creepy' grubs are actually what the future food will be like. Will the masses grab it? Insects have the potential to reduce the environmental impact created by traditional production of meat. That's what 'they' say.

Has anybody had a problem with logging in? For 2 days I am being denied when I want to open SFF. Have to check my settings, confirm handle and password. Finally I can log in.
When I log out, the same procedure at the next log in. And now I also have to type a given number before I post a comment!

Decades have gone by, and I think about what my life was like when I grew up. What do I remember when I was a little .....? Today my mind is exploring the years in the 1950s, the school I went to and the group of girlfriends when I was a . When we were 12 - 13 we all had a "Poesiealbum", I don't find a good translation in English, maybe "Friendship book"? Anyway, I got mine at a birthday or found it under the Christmas tree.
My friends, we were girls only at that school, gave me their book to drop a few lines, and I gave them mine. We tried our best handwriting and left a poem or some lines from a song, etc. Some rose stickers or drawings of flowers gave the final touch. In my group we asked to add a photo to better remember who was who years later! My album is still on a book shelve in my other home.
I attached some pictures I found on the net of the then popular "Poesiealbum".
