My singing voice is not that bad after all

I hereby provide proof that my singing voice is not that bad after all. The orange-red inflorescence at the top right hand corner is the flower of the Bauhinia kockinia, a creeper only found in Asia because it needs lots of sunshine and water to thrive. It provides shade for my Hydrangea. I am having second thoughts now; I was strumming my guitar when I sang so it could be the guitar sound that stimulated the blooming. Nah, it has to be my velvety voice.

I gazed upon a daffodil lazing in the dawn. Drooping in the morning chill she then gave a yawn. With a shriek that shook the hill, in a flash I was gone!

I Got Lucky!

I have received a mail from a certain Sylvester who claims to be from Manchester, UK. He wants to relocate to and invest in my country. For my help, he has offered me a share of 40% to 60% of his investments! He has not said it yet but I suppose that before he can relocate, I would have to settle his hospital and legal bills (he is currently in hospital and his wife is after his money) and pay for the air ticket too. Boy, am I lucky? I must have been born yesterday. Have any of you got lucky recently?

Soft hairy spines on the outside Around an oval or round shape; A woody seed on the inside.
The colour changes as it grows, From green to yellow and to red; And like the flowers of the rose, The fruits are clustered in a head.
Remove the leathery thin rind; A whitish fruit just like a grape With succulent flesh you will find.
The juicy type clings to the seed; It’s watery and often drips. It’s the firm type I like indeed That’s crunchy like potato chips.

Taken at the Taiping Lake Garden
in the morning above a still muddy lake a lotus blooms
The lotus grows in muddy water and rises above the surface at dawn to bloom into a beautiful flower, unstained by the mud. As such, it is a symbol of purity, and of hope.
