During our trip to Melbourne, we visited St. Kilda Beach. We were told that the Little Penquin can be found there. On our way there, we came across a black swan in a lake and had a chat with it.

This is a picture of the copper pod flower. The dark coloured pod is the colour of copper before becoming dark, hence its name. Some pods can be seen among the flowers here. The tree can grow to about 20 feet tall.

I came across this window in Tiong Bahru, Singapore last week. We were at one of the cute bakeries there. I tried the green tea and almond croissant which was quite good.

This is roti Prata which is very popular in Asia. It is a fried flour-based pancake cooked over a flat grill and is served with a bowl of curry. In this case, it is curry chicken.

The bottle brush plant is ubiquitous in Australia. This is one of the plants I saw recently.

I shot this in in a park in the Sunshine Coast. It looks like the lorikeets are feeding on the seeds of what looks like a casuarina tree.

I spotted these flowers on a wall in Brisbane. It is the first time I see these flowers and I think it is some kind of thistle.

I saw this pair of love birds in Sunshine Coast. I was told these are cockatoos.
