Surgery

Just had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand and finding out how much we use our right hand. It seem that our right hand is a foot longer than our left(if you know what I mean). Everything is o.k., Surgery only took 15 min. but prep. and post was about 4 hours. Love Ya All Wilber

I had knee surgery, Now on March 30, will have carpel tunnel surgery on right hand followed by left hand in couple of weeks. Not only that God made me backwards for my feet smells and my nose runs. The good thing is all the snow is melting during the day but refreezes at night. Looking forward to summer. well need to close. Love you all Wilber

Back in Wisconsin

I just got back in Wisconsin about 11:30 pm last nite. The week was very long and sorrowful. Mary had come up to help me when I had knee surgery and I was getting ready to take her home when Mary got her call about the passing of her mother on Sunday morning. We made the trip to Ladysmith on Tuesday and came back on Wed. after the Funeral. Then we drove down to Tenn. on Thursday and Came back on Friday.We put all of our "What ifs to sleep". I thank God I was able to take mary up to see her mother on Valentimes day And they had such a good visit. All of the best to Mary as we go our separate ways. Love ya all Wilber

Wisconsin Record highs for tomorrow

I can't believe my eyes, the snow is melting at a record pace. It is supposed to be in 50's tomorrow. I saw someone in shorts today. I will keep my long sleeves on for now. I will enjoy for now. I am up and about, the knee seems to be doing o.k.. Will be going back to work in about a week, but will be in light duty room for about a month. Every body have a great day. Love Ya All Wilber

Knee Surgergy

On Feb. 2 I had surgery on my right knee that I fell on back on 11/18/2008. The Doctor said he did all he could being that it was work related. He also said that I needed knee replacement in about a year or so. It will take me about 6 more weeks to be back to normal. He said I had a torn inter cushion(simple terms).I am doing very good so far. Thanks for all the prayers. Love Ya All Wilber

Happy New Year to all, As we enter into a new year and we put the past behind us, Let us enjoy what the new year brings. Let us take each new day like it is our last and really enjoy our old friends and hopefully new one's. This New Year brings a new President who really needs our prayers. A world that is in crisis and a economy that is broken. Let us be the answers not the problem. We all need to take one step forward and make this world a better place to be. Christmas Day Travel

I am leaving Wis. a day later than I planned, so I will be traveling on Christmas day. It Is a long drive for a two day visit then right back. 740 miles in 14 hours and maybe longer depending on weather and traffic. But It is worth just to see grandkids and family. I will be so glad to move back to the twin lakes area in Ark. I can ride my motorcycle 10 months a year and fish with my boat the whole years. We are just a few inches away from setting a record for snow fall for Dec.the last two year we have got a lot of snow and cold weather. Well need to finish packing and get ready to get on road in the morning so MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND GOD BLESS, Love Ya All Wilber

I just got back from the south and went from a temp. of mid 40"s to around zero. Also 14" of snow. Needless to say I came down with a cold with all the aches and pains. As they say in the south I would have to get better to die, LOL.I have a busy week in front of me so back to the nyquil and Vick's for me. Love Ya all Wilber

Snow, Snow, and more Snow

Just got back from Tenn. and Ark. From a vacation. Really enjoyed myself but still nursing a injured knee. Mary doing good in Tenn. and My are fine in Ark. Grand are getting as tall as me(that,s not to tall for I am only 5'8" lol). When I got in this morning at 1:00 AM, there was 14" of snow. Thank God for good neighbors they had cleaned my driveway and cleaned my steps for I could go in. My oldest boy killed a hugh 10 point buck(deer). my grandson cody killed his first deer a three point buck. He was very proud. Well it just went to quick. I came back two days early just to rest my knee for I go back to work monday even if it is light duty. May God bless all this Holiday season. Love You All Wilber
