Joy is in the simple things: touching,
Embracing, chattering on for hours about nothing,
Sure of your place within another's heart.
Simple things: like coming home knowing
Exactly where the treasure lies; like being
At ease with what you do and who you are;
Needing what you already have; accepting,
Desiring what you have been given; feeling
The gratitude of someone who is loved;
Investing goodness instead of money; giving
For the pleasure of giving pleasure; seeing
Fortune come to take you in its arms.
All this joy is yours for the price of loving,
Not only well but long, days of willing,
Years and years of wise and patient love. This what Mary and I share. Love Ya All Wilber(Leeroy)

A computer was something on TV
From a science fiction show of note
A window was something you hated to clean
And ram was the cousin of a goat.

Meg was the name of my girlfriend
And gig was a job for the nights
Now they all mean different things
And that really mega bites.

An application was for employment
A program was a TV show
A curser used profanity
A keyboard was a piano.

Memory was something that you lost with age
A CD was a bank account
And if you had a 3 inch floppy
You hoped nobody found out.

Compress was something you did to the garbage
Not something you did to a file.
And if you unzipped anything in public
You'd be in jail for awhile.

Log on was adding wood to the fire
Hard drive was a long trip on the road
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived
And a back up happened to your commode.

Cut you did with a pocket knife.
Paste you did with glue
A web was a spider's home
And a virus was the flu.

I guess I'll stick to my pad and paper
And the memory in my head
I hear nobody's been killed in a computer crash
But when it happens, they'll wish they were dead.

God's little touch

When the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the
mother returned to her seat and discovered that her was missing.
Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlights focused on the impressive
Steinway on stage. On horror, the mother saw her little boy sitting at the
keyboard, innocently picking out -- "Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star." At that
moment, the great piano master made his entrance, quickly moved to the
piano, and whispered in the boy's ear: "Don't quit.""Keep playing." Then,
leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began filling
in a bass part. Soon his right arm reached around to the other side of the
, and he added a running obbligato. Together, the old master and the
young novice transformed what could have been a frightening situation into
a wonderfully creative experience. The audience was so mesmerized that
they couldn't recall what else the great master played. Only the classic, "
Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

Perhaps that's the way it is with God. What we can accomplish on our
own is hardly noteworthy. We try our best, but the results aren't always
graceful flowing music. However, with the hand of the Master, our life's
work can truly be beautiful. The next time you set out to accomplish great
feats, listen carefully. You may hear the voice of the Master, whispering
in your ear, "Don't quit." "Keep playing."
May you feel His arms around you and know that His hands are there,
helping you turn your feeble attempts into true masterpieces. Remember,
God doesn't seem to call the equipped, rather, He equips the 'called.'
Life is more accurately measured by the lives you touch, than by the things
you acquire. So touch someone by passing this little message along.
May God bless you and be with you always!

If I were a car

IF MY BODY WERE A CAR...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model.

I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull, but that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was.

I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed.

My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter .....either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!

The cool night air on my face feels good also and You look so good tonight Why don't you come on in. The water is just right. There is plenty of room bring your friend. Love Ya Leeroy
