Looking South South West out of the kitchen window and down the garden we get some wonderful sunsets, particularly in the spring to early summer season.
As most clouds come into the UK driven by winds from the West and South West, and as clouds build during sunny days the conditions are just right for a spectacular show as the sun goes down..

The cache also included files marked "TS/SCI", a designation for the country's most important secrets that if revealed publicly could cause "exceptionally grave" damage to US national security.
That haul of documents seems to fit very closely with those which were DESCRIBED as to be seized in the original warrant

The fact that 34 people were charged in light of Mueller's report and most admitted their guilt, should give even the most partisan of FOX adherents pause for thought; if they were capable of thinking.
4. Judge Bruce Reinhart was appointed a judge in 2018 so could not have had any say on anything related to Bill Clinton.
5. Any EX President is subject to the same rule of law as anyone else. A duly authorised search warrant was served and executed. Why are the GOP suddenly opposed to the rule of law? (Denied)

CLAIM
COVID-19 vaccine mRNA is converted to DNA and enters the cell’s nucleus, so the vaccines can potentially change our DNA
Factually inaccurate:
The study didn’t show reverse-transcribed DNA entering the nucleus. It also didn’t show that the DNA was integrated into the cell’s genome.
Unsupported:
The experimental system used in the Lund University study is artificial. For example, it used liver cancer cells growing in the laboratory, which aren’t representative of healthy cells or a human being, to study whether the vaccine mRNA was reverse-transcribed. The study’s results therefore cannot be extrapolated to people.
The claim that the study showed that COVID-19 mRNA vaccines change our DNA or enter the nucleus is inaccurate and fails to understand the study’s findings.
The nucleus is where an organism’s DNA is stored.
Viral RNA could in theory be reverse-transcribed into DNA in the presence of reverse transcriptase activity from LINE-1. LINE-1 was found to be predominantly present in the cytoplasm of the cell, and this is the case even in the absence of the vaccine. NOTE - in the cytoplasm NOT the nucleus.
The study didn’t show that reverse-transcribed DNA entered the nucleus; its experimental system is artificial and not representative of normal cells
More importantly, the study never showed that the reverse-transcribed DNA integrated into the cell’s genome.
The news reporting that is covering this particular study is greatly misleading and I would also state that there are a number of claims the study made that are not supported by the study itself.
AND HERE IS THE SCIENTIFIC CLINCHER.
It is also important to note that this study was based on a previous report by ZHANG et al. published in May 2021 in the journal PNAS, in which scientists reported that SARS-CoV-2-infected cells carried DNA copies of the virus’ genetic material. Zhang et al. further reported that the presence of these DNA copies in the genome of the cells was enabled thanks to the action of a transposable element named LINE-1, which is present in human DNA. Transposable elements, discovered by the geneticist Barbara McClintock, are also known as “jumping genes” because of their ability to move from one place to another in the genome.
ZHANG's results have not been able to be reproduced by other researchers. The gold standard in ALL Science is that results must be reproducible. These results are not and so they are not credible.
Delete away if you like Hank but it will still remain that you are posting misinformation and slanted propaganda and it will still remain that what you are doing is dangerous to others as evidenced by the past and continuing high death rate in the US exacerbated by GOP politicians telling lies to their supporters.

X for Xanthophylls

This time of year is lit up by the deceasing amount of chlorophyll in the leaves of many trees which allows the vibrant yellow and orange colours of the Xanthophyll group of chemicals to show through. Although they do not give rise to the bright red colours associated with some trees (these are caused by anthocyanins), I cheated and included some red leaved trees as well and they do all brighten up October and November.
They are rather an eclectic mix from our back garen, SunYat Sen Chinese garden in Vancouver, Victoria B.C, Manvers lake and park and one which seems to have been photobombed by yours truly in Stanley Park.

1. The iconic view of the Ponte di Rialto you enter the main canal system of central Venice
2. Rainbow row the Island of Burano in the Ventian lagoon. Burano is famous for glass making.
3. A typical carnival mask. These masks come in sizes from miniaure fridge magnets giant size masks for carnival parade puppets.
4. Some examples of Burano glass.
5. St Mark's church in the Piazza san Marco which is often flooded in February when we were there. It was a cold but dry day with plenty of sun for our visit.
6. A long view of the Piazza with the Campanile (Bell Tower) to the right of St Mark's.
7. The ceiling of the ante room to the Doge's palace. They do some very ornate ceilings in Venice, often with famous masterpieces in panels on the roof.
8. A vaporetto passing the Redemptorist church. A 48 hour pass on the Vaporetti and other public transport is a reasonable way of getting round the whole lagoon for a weekend visit.
9. Did I say they do ornate ceilings in the palaces in Venice? This is the audience room in the Doge's palace.
10. Merano, another island in the lagoon, is famous for lace and this is an example.
