Feeling quite whimsical myself, I've decided to submit a picture of the dancing shoes Ben bought me for Valentine's Day.

Although they sit so very still in this photograph, when they are upon my feet at times they are lightly fanciful.

Then there are the times that they pounce upon my dance partner's feet, move in the opposite direction as instructed or refuse to move at all. Since it couldn't possibly be the wearer/owner of the shoes, I can only surmise the shoes to be to blame for the erratic behavior or unpredictable change.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL

Okay...Sing started it! Call me a copycat if you must but this is one of my most favorite "black & white" photos.

This pic was taken July 18th, 2009, at the (suprise) "Kristina Kicked Cancer's Ass" party. Her fantastic husband, Paul, organized, did all the work for and managed to keep the party a secret. He's a good man (and they met at an online dating site...hint: think Elton John's song "Harmony" )!

Presenting (from left to right): my Granddaughter, Kalani, my Granddaughter, Emi and my Granddaughter, Kiana aka Patricia (since that is her first name)! I call her by her (first) middle name (she has two middle names). (I know...it gets confusing). These are but three of Grandma's eleven prides and joys.

Okay, got your attention. lol No, I'm not pregnant...nor did I attempt to deliver a baby. I read Tango's blog about her new grandson -- who weighed over 10 freakin' pounds -- and it brought back memories of birthin' babies. (Think hee-hee-hooos).

So, since today is the 37th birthday of my second born, Kristina, the wonderwoman who beat cancer (knock on wood), I thought I'd ask the question, how much did your babies weigh at birth?

I'll start! My first born: 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Second born: 8 pounds 14 ounces. Third born: 9 pounds, 7 ounces. Fourth born: 9 pounds, 14 ounces. And fifth born: 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

Other thoughts while I have your attention...Anyone see the commercial where the woman is in labor and gives birth to a ? No thank you! lol

And, BTW, "Gone With The Wind" is going to be on TCM Thursday evening (afternoon for y'all on the West Coast...middle of the night for some of y'all). "...Oh, Ashley..."

This picture contains flowers from my 87 year old Father's garden. Although he has arthritis and spinal stenosis, he tends to his garden every year.

Today he cut the flowers in the picture and we took them to Mother's grave. I'm sure she will enjoy them.
