I spent the afternoon walking Seigie out and about down to the creek , along the fencerow and back home. He chowed down on an apple and some sugar cubes I'd brought along. Dinner wasn't much just marinated THICK Pork Chops slow grilled with baked potato and creamed corn (gravy) over top of them. MUTTs Inc crowded around for the bone


Ruby seems to be doing well too. I came in for a pot of tea with a bagel to warm up. I dropped half a bagel to the floor and she grabbed it before it bounced. I had to give a cookie to the other two ... they feeling left out.

Yes ! It's TRUE ! Hawaiian Farmers are shaking in their boots when they found out what I am doing.



I am going into Pineapple Farming !
Our store had pineapples for just $1.99 each.



I purchased *Two. You just carefully remove the tops by twisting it.



Trim back the lower leaves. Cut off any remaining fruit.


The tops fit perfectly into the mouth of quart fruit jars filled with water. I will place them so they catch the morning sun.



I'm gonna be rich! Rich!! RICH!!!

Siegie made it through the night. It is to warm up tomorrow and maybe take him out to walk around a bit.



Ruby seems to be much better. She's eating and walking around more.

It's really coming down here today.


The forecasters are scratching their heads on this one They'd said it would stay to the South. This what we woke up to. It's the windchill factor that has me inside. We are in the 2-4" snow band with some areas 8"+ we'll just have to see as the day progresses.

Ruby is doing ok. We've gotten her to eat a few cookies and she went outside for a little bit.

I am up with Ruby. She is not doing so good wheezing; not walking very good either.. won't even eat a cookie or popcorn. I'm just watching her.
