How many remember the old Cold War drill where you were advised to duck and cover in case of Atomic Attack ?



Those drills in school also served for tornadoes too.



This morning a strong line of thunderstorms drove me into the house with some small hail mixed in.



I'll deal with transplanting my potatoes later...

I looked outside and my rhubarb looks to be about enough for a strawberry rhubarb pie



My reminder is; IF at any point your rhubarb got "frosted" cut it off and throw it. Rhubarb that has been hit by frost develops a toxin--- don't know what it is... but DO NOT EAT IT... just wait and get more later.

Many of you might remember a few weeks ago I started some potato plants from cuttings while pealing a few tubers for boiling. The arrow indicates the small shoot that came off a back side. As you can see it has surged catching up with the other sprouts. I am currently debating which pot outside I will soon have to transplant my crop into.

We woke up to a misty sprinkley morning, however, it soon gave way to a beautiful sunny afternoon where I made the most of my time on a few small projects.

I am still alive.... Just been run to death where if I set down I fall asleep. JD & Co are out applying anhydrous. He should be done soon In the course of the day I managed to make some dinner rolls using the sprouted wheat flour. I took pictures and will try to post a blog if I get a rain day off.

Over the years I have enjoyed baking breads.



I've even done some exotic loaves and buns.
