If you get a moment a very dear friend's old cat that has never been outside except on a leash got OUT. The cat has no claws and would be unable to catch food or defend it's self.>

Yesterday on the way to see my new Dr. my wristwatch batteries died... I just happened to be driving past Wally World so I pulled in... In the back they had a discontinued wristwatch AND a matching bracelet marked down to just $9.50 !!!!!! HELL a new battery is $3 / $4 ... I took the watch & Bracelet !!! ....... So inexpensive it felt like theft, robbery, or shop lifting !

I had to go into the Bank this morning and see my insurance agent. On the way it looked like an engine derailed and damaged it's trucks.
Some pretty heavy duty cranes to lift that much weight.

Many branches of the Christian faith recognize and celebrate November First as a day dedicated to all those held in high esteem as a "Saint" elected by the Church and God as a Saint.
I went early this morning taking part to honor those whose lives lead them to the ultimate "Goodness" that they are next to the Almighty in Heaven. ~~~~ You know me I like to toss a monkey wrench into the mechanism .... I can't always avoid Politics & Religion~~~~ sigh ~~~~ These "Saints" were selected by men -- people... who make mistakes.....~~~ Here I stand thinking ~~~~
Almighty God who sees into the hearts of men, knows their thoughts, words, and deeds... has probably seen an untold multitude of Saints whose lives of goodness, charity, and piety went unnoticed by men ... but seen by his Angels and the Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Divine Being we worship as God has rewarded them calling them to his presence.

I went into my new doctor who has taken over for mine while he is off doing his Military Service. Excellent physician. Right to the point.... Cleaned my "wound" asked how other aspects were going to both our satisfactions.....
MY GREATEST JOY... When I asked if I was healed sufficiently to be able to take a shower...

I have a "pet" variegated Geranium that has just given me a stunning Crimson Cluster of flowers for my kitchen window ledge. A friend gave me the start of this Geranium many years ago and I have a couple other pots of them upstairs for the winter.

Remember those peaches I got?
They would NOT Peal worth a tinker's "D" To peal peaches you immerse them in boiling water for a moment.
Then into a cold bath to loosen the fuzzy skin and peal them.
This did NOT happen so I removed any bad spots from the peach then cut them into the blender.
I added some grapes and cored out some apples too and tossed in.
I had some Peach / Mango juice I added to the blender. Peaches also require a touch of Almond Extract to retain flavor.
I blended all the fruit
I added about 5 cups of sugar and brought the mixture to a rolling boil for about 15 minutes.
After jarring it up there is just shy of five quarts with that little fancy jelly jar full up front.

Yep when it rains............ it pours........
Thursday a fruit & veggie vender had his truck laden along the street in Waterloo.
Good prices on fresh peaches so I bought a lug.
He also cut the price on his white grapes... I took a whole lug of them too.
I came home started a load of jars in the dishwasher..... The machine decided it was time to give up and quit ! I went to Menard's and bought a new one. David a friend installed it for me. ....
