There are times when I wonder IF Indentured Servitude ever ended.

Today I went through the house cleaning the floral bouquets around the house, dipping them in soapy water, rinsing them off, allowing them to dry, then putting them back.

The chandelier above my desk was filthy! I decided I'd clean it too

POOR PUMPKIN !

I decided to hang the Chandelier on a hook in Pumpkin's turf in the pantry to wash it.

I wet down the chandelier with clear water to get the worst of the dust & dirt. Then Windex for the deep cleaning; the crude just drips off. With a soft clean towel I dab up the drips and turn a window fan on to dry it.

Pumpkin HATED IT! When he went up to investigate the puddle on the floor...
Water DRIPPED on his Head!

With the cleaned chandelier back up after several hours drying you may see the difference.

Blowin' in the Wind

No additional snow just blowing what we have around. The ditches are full allowing the roads to drift shut. East / West roads are a treacherous mess. Our temperature has plummeted to -7 F... -21 C even the dogs just RUN out do their duties and RUN back to the house.

I can't claim this recipe as my own, I seen it on the net and will leave a link in the comment section so you may watch it too. These are incredible and JD asks for them.
*Preheat oven to 450 degrees before starting.
**Makes 10 biscuits** (I get 12)

3 cups All Purpose Flour
4 tsp Sugar
1 TBS Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt

Wisk your dry ingredients together
I place my dry mixture in an easy to "dump" container.

2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
If your cream comes in a waxed paper container I'd suggest dumping it into a microwaveable container. Remember to use a scrapper to get all the butterfat that might stick to the container.

NUKE for about a minute. *** Note this is my mixing bowl ***

Wisk in the dry ingredients. Yaaa I know this is different from the video but my cream is heated in my mixing bowl and I don't dirty up any more than I have to. This is different from the video.

Use a 1/3 measuring cup sprayed with cooking spray to scoop out biscuit dough on to Baking tray. I use a knife to pat the mix into the cup and remove excess. SEE I GET *12*

Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes on upper middle rack of oven; rotate tray half way through. My dang picture of the golden brown biscuits coming out of the oven didn't turn out so you get a picture of the leftovers. Remove from oven and brush on
2 TBS of melted butter. I just use soft butter.
Let rest 5 minutes before eating.

I made us ground ham gravy for over the biscuits tonight with poached eggs. I only had *one* egg to save room for biscuits with butter and jelly.

This morning I got a double yoke egg.

Double-yolk eggs are a byproduct of rapid ovulation. That means two yolks are released in quick succession into a hen's oviduct (aka fallopian tube) and end up in the same shell. Typically, yolks are released about an hour apart, but hormonal changes or a hyperactive ovary will cause double releases.

When was the last time you had a Double Yoke Egg???

The vast majority of us can't afford a full time staff to perform those daily living chores for us.

Doing the dirty dishes...........

washing the soiled laundry....

Looking after the pets you might have.

Those general "upkeep" chores....

Which chore do you detest the most, yet must perform???

Rocketship a few days ago you posted a cute comic depicting the entrance to Hell. I remembered a couple lines from Virgil;

The Gates of Hell are open Night and Day

Smooth is the decent and easy the way.

But to return, and view the cheerful skies,

In this the task the mighty labor lies.

Tonight we had Crackpot Crockpot Barbecued Ribs for dinner. Simmered ALL Day they practically fell off the bone.

I had my baked potato cooled down to an edible temp with some cottage cheese!

MUTTs Inc love it when we eat like Henry VIII tossing the bones over our shoulder!
