Warm greetings and hello to everyone. I am brand new to this senior site and now that I have passed age 50, I have some changes and adjustments to make to my lifestyle of many years now. I lost my wife a few years back as we had met at Foxwoods Casino run by our tribe.in Connecticut. I by profession am a card dealer and sometimes a floor supervisor that most know as a Pit Boss. I also serve as a consultant advisor relating to new polices and changes. I love people bright colors and excitement. Yet being Native American, I also welcome and love our great outdoors where for four months out of each year, I spend with my remaining family of two younger brothers.. Since being a little boy, I have listened to our tribal medicine man and our tribal storytellers and have many cultural stories I might wish to share here. I have read many of the blogs today and didn'tnotice any based on history or even the copovirus19. Foxwoods is all closed down now and I have more free time that I know what to do with. My clothes needs are already met and I always eat at our many different 3 and 4 star Casino or Hotel restaurants and/or snack bars. I do not even own a car or drive and over the last few days, have been playing lots of online games of cards of which I deal Three Card Monte and Blackjack two decks. Also Texas holdem for private games held upstairs in special reserved private rooms. Working almost all days, I find myself usually in bed by nine pm and up and fully awake by 4 am. I guess that's about it for now. I look forward to learning my way around as I also just joined a Connecticut based singles site that seems far too progressive and forward for my present situation. This blog has sat for a long time and does not show up like the other ones that show? If anyone can see this.,please post a short blog of instructions on what I am doing incorrectly or am missing? Thank you. I hit entered the 490 number in the blank box and hit the post button just now?

You must post your own comment before the blog will appear. Any way welcome.... You have to learn your way around here..to not be overwhelmed by the negativism.. One you get to know it.. It's not as bad as one would first assume.. It's an amazing feat to be able to laugh and cry at the same time.. your chances of finding a mate here is not as good as going to a laundromat and acting stupid. I would suggest not sending up smoke signals or blowing smoke..That will bring in the Calvary here. Not the good kind.. more like the BAPTIST kind... a lot of horse shit and very little horse sense. forgive my language.. I lost my filters. Anyway i hope i have shown you the truer nature of the laugh and cry here.

Welcome. SFF is quite a bit different than when I first joined in 2003 and met Joe here a few months later. Back then, and up to a few years ago, people would get together and have a "bash" with often 12 to 120 folks attending. Joe and I have met hundreds of online friends in person (from here and a couple other little internet groups) and still keep in touch with many of them here, in face book, by email and phone. Those gatherings seem to be a thing of the past as we are all getting older and many have passed away. Perhaps it's time for you youngsters to step up and shape SFF for yourselves, but there is nothing like being able to put a face to the name and making real time memories. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
