Reading is almost a lost art form. Then you have to ask.... When was the last time you picked up a real BOOK made of paper to read?

I have many books, most in my home in Germany. Over here I need more shelves to organize the piled up books. The "Strange Death of Europe" by Douglas Murray is my reading material at this time. And I write short stories in my mother tongue.....
I am glad that in my family the art of reading books is still alive!

I love books!! Right now I'm reading the 299 Days series by Glenn Tate. My Mom always called me her little bookworm. Funny, she read just as many books as I did, so was she the big bookworm?

Reading a book lets you create a movie in your mind. You chose what the characters and the scenery looks like. Example, years ago (LOL, more like decades) when I read Stephen King's book Pet Sematary, it scared the heck out of me! When I went to see the movie, it wasn't scary at all, in fact, it was kind of silly.

Real BOOKS made of paper... even more valuable when leather bound hard cover editions..... These old editions will one day be stacked in a library's rare book room to be preserved for a generation who tire of the bright screen

We are ALL reading ALL the time!!!

'Real' reading is not just what is done with a paper book. Reading takes many forms now with e-readers, to internet sites, and with this blog site as well.

I find no reason now to save on shelves all the books I have read over the years.
