I love that Winter Solstice bonfire. Swiss Chocolate is the best while nuts where ever they came from are universal.

Thank you, Archer, for your good wishes..... The same from me to you. I have been thinking for some time that it would be nice to meet you. For two years we have been living with this "insanity", and I cannot see an end.... There are many reasons why I should be back home. The most important reason is the sad situation that hit my granddaughter. She is undergoing chemo therapy and needs every helping support, etc..... The Christmas tree I posted, is the one my granddaughter decorated with her little son. Sigh....

Belated Christmas greetings myseek. I'm very sorry to read of your granddaughter's situation and wish her a strong recovery. The current circumstances (Covid travel restrictions) are especially trying/challenging for folks. I'm sorry for your angst in that you can't physically be on hand to give support but I'm sure your granddaughter will draw strength and comfort in the knowledge she is well loved and supported by family & friends. She has a special bond with you from memory (mentioned in an earlier blog). Peace be with you

It should be everyone's goal to live each day in that peace, not just at Christmas time. Prayers for you for peace concerning your grand daughter, and for her for her situation. It is hard enough to get through some situations, but when distancing in necessary, it is even harder.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
