*~*~* Yesterday *~*~* When I woke up around 7 AM, I felt ready to get out of bed right away. LOL Normally I snooze a little longer..... Thinking of breakfast and the smell of coffee awakened the spirits....... While waiting for the rolls baking in the oven, I turned to the kitchen window, opened the glass doors to let fresh air in and was amazed by the dense fog. Is this a sign that autumn is taking over? An hour later the sun peeked out from above. It turned out to be a nice day......... and I was full of energy. Had my car inspected and got the new sticker for one year, paid the property taxes to get that out of the way till August next year, went to my favorite food market, went to Staples and bought ink for the copy machine and more files to finally sort out the papers that had piled up. LOL After all that running around I watered the flower in my drive way and put a wooden ring on the ground that was meant to be used for the top of a banjo. I think it is a good protection for that plant. After all that activity, I saw a picture of our little guy, who had just started playschool/kindergarten. To emphasize the importance of the transition to "big boy", he got a cone made from paper, filled with some sweets and toys...... I attached some photos to share.   1. Around seven in the morning 2. I miss seeing fog in the morning, it's been awhile. Fall lasts about a week here, if we're lucky we might get two weeks of Fall. The last time I saw your little driveway plant it only had three flowers on it, my how it has grown! Is that your grandson? He sure is a cutie!

That little plant is real thankful for my caring love..... I counted 14 open flowers today and 5 more to come. Yes, that little guy is my great-grandson, now 2 yrs and 4 months old. We have much more rain here this year than all the years before and heavy thunderstorms.... On such days I don't put a foot outside. You did the right thing celebrating a Dark day with a glass of wine and nice company. I hope all is well in your life, ET. So that's where all my energy disappeared to..... YOU got it! Well, that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it. I've had a busy week, and the next couple days won't be any different, so I'm looking forward to Friday and hope it will be a restful one. Our weather is hot and muggy, with a heat advisory until Thursday. In fact, when I walked my daughter to her car this afternoon, I was dancing on the hot concrete because I was barefoot. I hope you get to be with your grandson in person soon.... they grow so fast. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Love how your morning goes when you awaken. I don't get that ambitious first thing in the morning. I also don't drink coffee. I was finding coffee to be too acidic so I have my Earl Gray tea. Cute little boy with his cone of goodies. Your flower in the driveway is doing well. It is amazing how well it has done. It just goes to show it doesn't need a lot soil to keep it growing. As long as it is watered it is thriving. Whenever I try to take a photo of the moon it doesn't show up. Good post!

When I think of Canada, I always imagine cold and snow. I don't know why. LOL That plant appeared one day, made me smile, and I promised to take care of it. I call it hope, because life always finds a way to survive. I wish I could be an Oma to touch and cuddle and be asked all the questions that little kids have on their mind.... MrsJoe, my sudden energy yesterday surprised me. LOL Last week I was busy, too.... It was exhausting, and the weather was hot and muggy. Today we had 92F again. Dancing barefoot on hot concrete is unique...... imagining that makes me laugh! You are right, the little ones grow very fast. He does not know that all the pampers he needed from day one on came/come from me who is an ocean away. LOL Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Lovely set of photos from early morning to late at night. We are having another spell of beautiful sunny weather here, after weeks of rain and winds. Long may it last.  Your hope plant is coming on a treat, very pretty indeed. What a cute little boy your grandson is, such beautiful hair too. I know only too well how difficult it is not being able to hug and be with them in person.

I have no problem with coffee or any food....With nice music in the background I hope that the day will be good! I have a simple Canon camera and just give it a try.
