*~*~* Throwback *~*~* This photo was taken Oct. 2000 at the festive reception by the Air Force at Andrews Air Base in Virginia, honoring the artists who had contributed paintings to the AF Art Collection. Unfortunately, this photo is standing in the back of my desk in Germany. I zoomed it to enlarge it, but can't get it any clearer. It was the last time we participated as Parkinson slowly took over and made it impossible for Joe to draw and paint with a steady hand. His last try on a partly covered canvas I keep stored away. Lovely memories. You have his last attempted art piece stored away. Would it be too painful to get it out and hang it? It's a testament to the love you shared, or you wouldn't have kept it. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

What a nice memory MySeek. I have my parents wedding photo sitting on my chest of drawers in the bedroom. Sometimes when I chat to my sister on the phone we talk about things our parents did back in the day. Those kinds of memories will stick with us till the end of our time. I am sure you cherish all those memories that you and Joe had.
