Great selection of pictures, the one that really grabbed my attention was the last one. I have always loved Kippers and I really wish I had some for dinner today.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Those canned Herring fillets and the kipper snacks I bought by mail order at the International Food Market. I order twice a year products I don't find here. And the kippers are really good!

Myseek, beautiful letter "H" photos. Those hydrangea hedges are really fantastic. I love the half timbered house, very special. So nice to see your lovely German home too.

Maudi, when I visited the Azores for the first time, I was impressed by the hydrangea hedges on both sides of the roads - a feast for the eyes.
Many of the half-timber houses have been renovated. On the upper level of my home we integrated some old beams from such a house that a friend had given us when he restored his very old house.

Good photos, those Hydrangeas are lovely. I found the house intriguing..... with the use of angles, it almost looks crooked.

Beautiful hedgerow of Hydrangeas, and Pat's right, the 200 year old restored house does look kind of crooked with how the angles are placed. The Macaw parrots are so cute. Nice home in Germany, but nope, don't care much for herrings.

MySeek love your display of photos for the letter "H". My favorite of course is the Hydrangea hedge. My favorite is sardines in tomato sauce on crackers.....yum..yum...!

Ah ... the Herring Fillets made me hungry ... I love that flowers fence in the first picture. I like all the photos, thank you Karin.

How pleasant to wander along a lane flanked by hydrangeas on either side myseek. The restored half timber house has much character and reminds me of the houses from the Elizabethan era. I very much like the harlequin and the cage free parrots especially - I too would feel miserable caged.
