Summertime

The NC Red Myrtle is blooming now. The first 3 photos show what I see from my kitchen. The azalea bushes around the house were the highlights in spring. Photo #6 is part of my garden in Germany, a place to relax and hang loose. This year, due to corona, I can't be there. Here and there little brass carnations are showing up close to the ground. The Smiley tells me that life is fine.

It certainly is a beautiful world and those are beautiful pictures of beautiful flowers!

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Beautiful indeed. I love photo 6. Such a peaceful looking spot, to sit and relax with a coffee or a cool glass of wine

The myrtle is a beautiful plant but that Azalea is spectacular. A great 'wake up' call in the morning.

Thanks for showing us your different gardens.

Such a lovely splash of colour! The crepe myrtle is a beautiful tree and I love its distinctive dappled bark once shed. I too love the bright splash of red, pink and white azalea bushes and the singular purple carnation (?) - ice maidens? Is the alcove type setting a memorial garden where the young girl (statue) standing near the rock plaque gazes out towards those who pass? 'Here I am' - a beautiful presence.
