I guess I'm an old Scrooge, or Grinch cause I find decorating like that too much effort. What goes up, must come done, so it's twice the work. But lots of folks enjoy driving around and looking at displays like that. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

It's wonderful how the lights transform what can be ordinary, even garish, during the day into something magical, extraordinary at night. They're like a magnet for the young and young at heart - I for one enjoy the Christmas displays which seem to foster a festive spirit among strangers and neighbours alike, the joyous expressions of children.
