More crafts I haven't posted in some time. I kind of took a break from crafting for a bit. I am once again playing in the paint These items are wood, 1 decoupaged, the others painted, using the fluid art techniques, the bloom technique ,and the balloon kiss technique. All of these pieces have been sold . I am working on wood coasters, and will post another blog with some of the sets I have finished soon. |

I guess we all like that black set! Joe's daughter in New Hampshire does crafts and she loves doing them so much that she wishes she could quit her full time job and just do crafts! A lot of her things have a seaside theme or old distressed look. One of the ladies at the shop where we have booths takes old end tables, and other small pieces of furniture and paints them with unusual designs. I have two of her pieces that have bees painted on them. I'm thinking of putting a heavier clear coat over the top of them, but don't know what to use. I would just like a more durable finish so I would be comfortable sitting drinks on them. Any suggestions? Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Nice to see you again Kitty. The bloom and balloon techniques sound interesting - I'll keep an eye open for local efforts. My favourite is the beautiful black set also - poetry in motion :- )
