 Years ago, the advice lines would erupt into flaming wars, similar to what we see here. A beautiful voice of reason, ConeyIslandBabe reminded us of this very truth. She said we never knew what was driving the person on the other side of the screen, it could even be drugs, alcohol, or mental illness.
I've never forgotten that lesson. We don't have to agree or condone their behavior, but we don't have to argue and fight with them either. Better to just ignore.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

 Brightsmile truer words were never spoken than what you have written today. I read stories about people who are struggling with many things in their lives. Yesterday I read about a little baby girl who has a rare cancer and they can't do anything more medically for her. The parents have taken her home to spend her last days with her. It really touched my heart to see how upbeat they were and giving their baby girl all the love and kindness they could for her remaining days. Kindness makes the world go round.

Hello Mrsjoe......I agree with coneyislandbabe and you. I must admit that lately I have been guilty of not doing it, Last night there was a person in chat that you could tell they had some issues and another chatter started to talk with the person in a kind way and I could tell that it helped the other person.

I then thought of myself and asked myself If I would have been as kind .That is the reason for this blog. I think we all need to be reminded sometime to treat others as we would like to be treated and to forgive each other.

Hello Shartaun..........yes kindness does make the world go round I agree. It must have been very hard for those parents knowing that their child would only be with them for a little while..
