 Beautiful work of art, isn't it? I've seen some lovely ones over the years, but that one beats them all. Thanks for posting it, brightsmile.

I have two friends who always have a quilt or two in the works, as well as wall hangings, and tote bags, etc.

 Beautiful quilt. I have a cousin who is an excellent quilter. She has done some beautiful quilts. I am not sure how many she sells but she donates them to her church for their sales.

 I love the message within the quilt. My late husband was a quilt maker. I tried making them but mine are more the necessity type versus the artsy type. I've decided to enter the Fairy Garden contest for next year's State Fair. My entire patio is like a fairy garden.

 Amazing art work! Such embroidered quilt is called Nakshi Kantha in my country. Of- course, these quilts are very expensive and it is a centuries old art tradition of Bangladesh. The basic material used is thread and old cloth, especially Saree.

Hello looklook......Wow thanks look for sharing that because it just shows how much we have in common if we take the time to befriend people and listen to them. This lady makes her quilts because it is an old African tradition.
