Wouldn't it be nice if kindness had the same ripple effect.
Where would our world be now?

Kindness has exactly the same ripple effect...only it works the other way round.

He who casts a stone over a frozen pond, may avoid the ripple effect but none the less can SKIP MAKING SMALL WAVES!

Even Hockey sticks break bones thus Sticks and stones can break my bones but names will never hurt me is not really true..

As a boy the only Ripple effect I ever suffered was when eating a Fudge Ripple ice cream cone.........Its coldness delivered great pain to the top part of my mouth for a few minutes..

That's what I got from Straying from being Vanilla!!!!!!

Kindness should be used every day! If you are in a bad mood and have to go out, rather than taking your bad mood out on someone that does not deserve it, use a smile...it may help you and the other person may need it as they may be having a bad day.

I grew up with a very controlling and abusive father. When I was a teenager my home life became unbearable and there was no-one to go to for support or help. I remember sitting through classes in high school on the verge of tears and not even able to pay attention to what was going on. I still remember after all these years when the most popular girl in the class looked at me every so often and gave me a little smile. I had never told her about my home life, but it felt like she knew somehow. Those smiles helped me so much.

Absolutely right, Katie!

It's the law of cause and effect - what a person puts out is what comes back. Sometimes it is easier to build up the positive rather than trying to fix the negative and let the positive snowball.

Abused by my father, and now by you. You have named me in a few of your hate filled blogs and replies to other people's blogs, but I think it's you who is spreading hate in our blogs, not me.
