WHO IS REALLY THE MASTER OF ALL THE MASTERS?

Like millions of fellow sports fans all over the world, this fine restful passing Sunday delivered to us a true spectacle well worthy of remembrance. Truly a sight to behold, this unfolding storyline was one many would envision as only being capable of being created by a gifted holly wood script writer.

Taking place under nearly perfect seasonal weather conditions was the historic 83rd edition of the yearly golf tournament simply known as the Masters!

Held over four days within all 345 sculptured acres considered amongst the most beautiful scenery contained within all of the Americas, the magnificent spectrum of seven different kinds of Southern Magnolia trees were on display in their full glorious bloom.

Meshing in perfect blended contrast, were Augusta National's tees, fairways, sand traps and manicured greens that signified to all viewers here in America, that Winter and its unwelcomed hardships to us all were now replaced by the long awaited and overdue aspects of Spring.

Within the 2019 Masters field of 88 professional golfers from all over the world, was a storyline of simply one of them taking on an interest of great note.

Its beginning dated back to 1997 when a then 22 year old young man by the name of Tiger Woods ( born Edrocl Tont Woods) realized one of the sports worlds greatest dreams that consisted of winning the Masters.

His youthful joyful celebration taking place just off of the historic Augusta Nationals 18th green with a long tearful hug of his dying father there to see his boy after just suffering two major heart attacks!

In between then and now, were three other masters wins included among his 14 number of Professional Golf's Grand Slam events won. Overnight breaking Scandal of his being a womanizer exposed on a world wide stage of a fully disclosed investigation suddenly changed his Heavenly world into one of a pure Living Hell!.

His beautiful wife former Swedish model Elin Nordegren's heart broken and shattered by his betrayal of their sacred Oct. 2003 wedding vows. Once the most popular beloved athlete in the entire world, Tiger had almost instantly turns millions of supporting fans into dire hardcore enemies comprising of both sexes!

Loss of his many endorsement sponsors as well as having multi surgeries on his back and legs. for five long years his life greatly suffered from both the damages of physical as well as mental pain.

Displaying a very quite low key and private mindset, Tiger Woods very much alone, gathered in a great degree of determination and undying resolve in his fight back from the lowest depths of failure a person of his once elevated magnitude could suffer..

At exactly 2:27 pm est: today April 14, 2019, a very tearful 43 year old Tiger Woods again walked off of that historical 18th green at Augusta National to embrace his very young son and then tightly embraced his 75 year old mother Kultida Woods as countless numbers of us fully informed viewers shed our salty tears of joy and relief.

Courage, conviction, dedication, deep relenting guilt, resolve and his broken heart again in tact for the game he loves so much as well, as finally one Tiger Woods had before our very eyes, had grown into a true Man!.

One well worthy of again gaining a following as a true hero and role model.
Yes Tiger, while success comes easy for many of us, it is only after total failure does character and heart combine to bring a person to their full greatly desired potential

I have to admit, I think this is the first one of your blogs that I have read. You pointed out the good in Tiger's life and the bad. We don't know what causes another person to make the decisions that they do. We are not the ones that are suppose to judge them. That falls in God's lap. I was amazed when I saw 263 views and only 4 responses. It was a good post. Thank you.

Can't say I held anything against Tiger Woods even when he was accused of phillandering. That's such a common sin that he really doesn't stand out from much of the general populous. Most of my opinion of him is that he's basically a decent guy, who has some flaws like all of us.

So I was glad to c him score a new victory. He's just another guy giving it his best and fortunately he succeded this time. Good for him!

GBU,

Gavin

First of all I amh a life long sports fan that enjoys the competition whether it is against another team, person or clock.

Sporting events do no PLEASE Me but rather entertain and satisfy me.

I do not admire one bit, the arrogance and holy pedestals many of todays top athlete that make 20 or more million dollars a year with mansions and groupies and the best life one can ever imagine!.

I have met many famous people over my lifetime and never once asked for a single autograph.

The media coverage of the masters was second to none as a storyline some six years old that was waiting to be told whether he won or fell flat on his face.

The more I was educated with his past, the more I began to gain a degree of respect not for his talents or what he once was. but rather for what he had become by Learning

This transcends to me into RESPECT. Tiger was on a mission to redeem himself and against all odds such as his age, back surgeries and at one time unable to even sit up in bed,

His selfish actions became known and recognized by himself and I viewed Tiger as being many good qualities.

Yes or no one word answers are not my style Archer.

I respect the man and feel good for his children who lost faith in daddy by breaking mommies heart and making her go away while his power gave him full time custody..

Yesterday by tears,,emotion and showing true love displayed for the entire world to view, he redeemed himself in my book.

My admiration does not come easily. Like respect, it has to be earned as my article noted and pointed too.

Greatness in athletes is a very special place arrive at.

Jim Thorpe, Mohammad Ali, Wayne Gretzky , Michael Jordon, Babe Ruth , Hank Aaron among this best of all times elevated Group.

If you ever watched or Read the Lou Gehrig story or heard his Today I am the luckiest man on the face of the earth speech, you would begin to understand what I not only wrote, but reported on this site all well.

Sickness, aging, handicaps, loss, ,faith, family and Love............These are the very things that all of us here and now are faced with each and every day !!!.......

THE COURAGE OF CONVITION INSTILLED IN A PERSON IS WHAT I SAW AS DID THE WORLD.[/

Firstly Gavin Tiger Woods was not ACCUSED OF PHILANDERAING but was exposed to the entire world of having 13 different woman that we know of who came forward one by one against this internationally known celebrity.

He lost five major corporate sponsors and some 30 million dollars a year of his endorsements.

His two young children now without a mom, two nannies to replace her, law suits galore. He crashed drunk into a fire hydrant at the base of masion estate dead as intoxicated on both alcohol and drugs of some sort,

He pleaded nolo in a court of law which is taken as an admission of full guilt.

He is not just another guy as he is one of the biggest role models in the world.
Young kids idolize and worship him and his celebrity.
He Is or was the Mel Gibson of golf.....

There are two types of people that follow sports. Hard core fans to go to these events along with fans at home that view live and on sport scenter replay.

As over time , levels of interest grow, that with it brings us much closer and deeper involved.

A Causal sports fan simply does not care as much or have bonding emotions to the event. They mostly watch out of curiosity!!

This blog was about both sports and life in combination. thus both can extract some degree of pleasure out of reading it.

I was impressed....
The turnaround was unusual....The test of a man.. that once held the bull by the horns but got gored.... To then find the wherewithal...to grab it by the tail..

I must admit... it was impressive as hell..to see a young talented, gifted, boy.. Idolized with an unearned worthiness.....become old...and still manage to find the truth in the 'Fountain of Youth"
