FOR LOVERS OF THE HIGH SEAS AND THE WOODEN SHIPS THE INVISIBLE CURRENTS So many vast oceans, of both green and mystic blue That graced the shores, of so many distant lands A visable challenge to so many brave young men Who took yearnings to explore, within their hands And so the peaceful virgin rolling seas were invaded By a sudden new host of those, just born to explore Firstly just using crude rowing oars, but soon riggid sails In top heavy wooden ships, aways sinking for ever more Soon pure seamanship became an artly craft Lessons well learned, reversed those lowly tides Both errors and mistakes greatly erased By many new tested methods, then tried Navagation done by the stars on clear lit nights But only by compass and sextent, during days Thus those voyages with expectent dreams So many great new discoveries, finally made Yes the world was round, like our pale moon above As the shifting winds and invisalbe currents steered Those brave groups of accomplished sailors Onward and void of worry and harbored fears Oh the seas and reefs took more of their own fair shares Of both those floating vessels and their faithfull crews On those not so peaceful oceans Of both green and mystic blue. Just the vastness of the oceans had to be daunting to even the bravest. That picture is intriguing. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Just the vastness of the oceans had to be daunting to even the bravest. That picture is intriguing. A far contrast to Scotts more streamlined triple mast Clipper ships which t sacrificed about 20% of cargo storage in favor of 45% less travel time. thank you for you comments..
