State of mind Many younger women have contacted me and given age does not mean a thing!! Age means a lot and a younger women has to articulate how they understand how that factors into the relationship! I will not eliminate a younger women for a long term partner, but the younger women must be able to articulate why she can handle my death which may leave with out spouse for many years! |

Prong is right, most of those accounts are fake, both male and female, trolling for information or for suckers to drain money from. We have all been contacted by them, and many of us have heard to horror stories of people who fell for it and lost money. Age does make a difference in relationships, and extreme ages can cause extreme difficulties, as the older one ages and health and aging issues become evident. Then of course, there is the problems that can arise with grown children who feel the younger person is an interloper and the older one is just an old fool who is about to "give away the farm" that the children believe should be theirs someday. As for dealing with the death of an older mate, perhaps a very much younger person sees that as a financial gain? I hate to sound so negative, but just heard of it happening too often. My husband, whom I met here in the chatroom, is 11 years my senior. Not a huge difference, but enough to make a difference in health and activity level. But love overcomes all of it, and that is why we married. I did not want to even consider becoming a widow again, but my daughter reminded me "It is better to love and lose, than never to love at all." Oh, and some of my children are married to spouses who are 11 to 16 their seniors, but they began those relations at a much younger age, when age really didn't matter like it does now. Good luck in finding whatever you are searching for...... but be wise about it. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
