I've Tasted Love

As I mentioned in my profile, I'm an amateur writer. This is a poem I wrote back in 2001. It doesn't rhyme like most poetry, but I hope you enjoy it.

I've tasted Love's sweet nectar,
I hunger for more.
I've felt Love's warm embrace
I long to feel it again.
I've heard Love's tender song,
My soul listens to hear it again.
I've seen Love's beauty,
And my eyes can find naught to compare.
Love is a gentle flower to be nurtured.
It's beauty never fades.
It is as abundant as the stars,
Yet ever so rare.
It is stronger than diamonds,
Yet as soft as the petals of a rose.
