Mom comes home today, snow flurries in Piggott! And other small town items of non interest

She is ready, stronger and clear headed . Anxious to resume the command post of her power chair and start giving orders instead of taking them. I don’t blame her, she went in on Christmas day, A long time to be away for her. She likes being home.
Great concern for the possibility of snow yesterday. Who could guess? An inch or more?
I knew it was a fluke. We already had an inch of snow this year, that’s about all we get.
( Ms Nemo and other Chicago Gals, yeh, I know ,they have noooooo idea what a good old fashioned snow storm is.)
In Chicago we call 1 or 2 inches of snow a light dusting. And I don’t think it stops where Pixie lives in northern Wisconsin until around August 11th.
So I will have three women bossing me around soon. Mom, Baby the spoiled mutt ( who has the hots for Frenchie ) and my computer ( yes, feminine ) who attacked me with her own blog while I slept.
I am thinking about parking Hawg ( my pickup truck, masculine) inside to balance the gender thing a little.
But would have to make the front door about eight feet wide, maybe just install a garage door. I dono, I’ll give it some thought.
Half the guys in Arkansas bring their Harleys in for the winter and park them in the living room so my idea is not all that bizarre.
Well I guess I had better get on the phone and see if I can find a maid service, I have kinda let my house keeping slip if ya know what I mean.

Thanks………………………..Doug

Oh my gosh! I lived in TN for about 14 years, and I remember men there bringing in their Harleys! To the LIVING ROOM! I grew up in No. IN, where it's COLD and really snows (like Chicago, but without the great shopping!) and NEVER ran into anyone who wheeled their bike inside! Thanks for the memory...and glad your mom's doing better!
