Mott will be missed by all of us that met her, even if they only chatted with her, they MET her. Thanks for the paintings of her. Ann

Bright, thank you so much for that lovely portrait of Mott; your painting of her captures the Mott I shall always remember. I first met her in FL back in 2007 and she welcomed me as she did everyone she met. What bundle of joy! Her persona made you believe in people again...not that I ever had much doubt but with Mott it was as if I had known her all my life (except for the southern accent lol). She certainly fought her dreadful disease without wanting us to feel sorry for her. Yet I often worried about her. I knew she must have been in terrible pain. I shall always have great admiration for this caring lady and although I was so very sad to learn she had passed, I now know she is at peace & without pain. Thanks also for the photo of the SFF gang ... so many familiar faces I've met at one bash or another in FL.

You are a very talented woman. I sobered up before "Sex on the Beach" but there are plenty of other adventures out there. Abracadabra

Hello Starwomyn...........Thank you. I guess we(those who drank sex on the beach) will have to sober up too...Since Mott is no longer with us. However if she gave someone else the recipe????????......we might be able to Party on....loll Makes 10 8-ounce servings. 3 3/4 cups (30 ounces) cranberry juice 3 3/4 cups (30 ounces) fresh orange, grapefruit, or pineapple juice 1 1/4 cups (10 ounces) vodka 1 1/4 cups (10 ounces) peach schnapps 10 maraschino cherries with stems, for garnish I can make a "Virgin" Sex on the Beach with cranberry juice, pineapple juice and lots of maraschino cherries. This means I don't have to worry about sobering up after the party and I can drive everyone else home.  Abracadabra

Hello Starwomyn........lollol......I am sure someone will be glad that you have the recipe for the tasty drink and I will leave it here for those who want it. I have become a tee totaler. I don't smoke, drink nor do I chase fast men......lol. I am just boring now...lol. Thank you for it starwomyn. Thank you for the tribute to Mott. She was indeed a one-of-a-kind..... as are you. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Smiling...... so you don't chase fast men, eh? At our age, most of them have slowed down considerably, so do you chase slow men? LOL. Mr. Joe is VERY slow, and I know he don't mind your "chasing" him.... in fact, it just might be the other way around! Thank you for the tribute to Mott. I was fortunate enough to have chatted with Mott a number of times over the years that we were both in SFF. From what I have read about her in this blogg, she was truely a lovely lady.
