Sparkle these are lovely photos. I see that first one has Mount Washington is off in the distance. Back in the 80's I x-country skied on that mountain. It was one of my favorite mountains to ski on. One never gets tired of looking at wildlife.

That's so cool that you recognize Mt. Washington.....We've spent a lot of time there, downhill, cross-country, and when the kids were teens, snow-boarding.......We have also hiked there in the Spring to the see the wild-flower meadows and feeding the Whiskey Jacks that feed out of your hand.....and in August to pick Blueberries........Several friends have worked there......

I need a reminder sometimes, when I'm stuck in the house or the ferry isn't running because of a storm, like last night when I was posting this......Thanks for your comment.....

Excellent catches. I had a pair od Bald Eagles here following the creek but without a telefoto lens they were rendered a couple black dots on the sky.

Yup....You have to be a really dedicated photographer to pack all that heavy equipment around in the wilderness....let alone pay for it......These people have a business doing wilderness tourism......It's the major industry around here, which is great, because they are invested in keeping the wilderness intact.
