Sparkle that first photo must be lichens on a log. That is so cool. Your second photo looks like a walk in the forest.

Outstanding find on that shelf "Toadstool" I have never seen so many on a trunk before.

Hi Shar.....Yes....My camera is pointed up at the tree trunk with the sun shining through.......These fungi don't stay translucent long....another week and the will be opaque......

I don't get the marshmallow connection......I just came back from voting for regional director.......the one we had for many years is retiring and the 2 contenders for the position are both so promising that I didn't decide who to vote for until I stood in the voting booth.......Usually I make that decision early in a campaign.....Many people were undecided.....Last couple of weeks, people were asking if I had decided who to vote for yet.....LOL.......It's going to be a close one.
