Zany can be good. I like that t shirt.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

That is a really ZANY T-shirt and a great picture of it too.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Those pens were really fun with all those neon colours, but, alas, they didn't hold up well in the wash........My daughter, who was the recipient of the shirt, which was a huge size and meant as a sleep-shirt, said oh, well, the colours were so loud they kept me awake......groaaaannn!!!

I am surprised how many compliments I've received on Facebook about this picture! I was trying to duplicate a similar image I took in 2004 in my office. The only difference is that this time instead of wearing my work suit, I have my motorcycle protective gear.

I was very involved in the creation of an art gallery in the small city across the channel.......One year, I was asked to write an art critique column for the local newspaper.......I found that an enormous challenge, but I tried. I find "art=speak" very pretentious, so I decided I would just go to the gallery and write down my immediate response.....That didn't really work, so I decided to interview the artists and use that.......It was a good idea and I loved chatting with the artists as they took me through their displays.

My favourite was a woman in her 50s who was doing these huge abstracts......When I arrived for our interview, she was on her hands and knees looking at a painting that she had flat on the floor......she kept turning it, trying to decide which side was up........She was very frustrated and asked me for my thoughts...........I walked around the painting and told her which angle I preferred and she asked why.........So I told her that to me, her whole show was about Humans riding Japanese high-powered motorcycles wearing zip up full-body protective suits and helmets ......and/or Human-sized Ants or other exoskeletal beings ........I pointed to the painting on the floor and said that one crashed his motorcycle and his parts scattered on the road and then magically it reasembeled , like a film running backwards.......Or you just crushed an ant on purpose and feel guilty about it...................

And she said.....Oh my God.....that's exactly what it is....My son bought a motorcycle and he puts his gear on and says goodbye and roars off, I immediately get terrified for him....I drove past an accident with the motorcycle, driver, and helmet smeared across the highway like an insect that has been stepped on.....and I go to my studio to distract me from my fear for my son.......

This comment is an excellent sample to be used as a standalone blog post.

Before I married my first wife in 1979, I was visiting her when my father showed up unannounced around midnight, (she lived in the same community as my father). On his way home, he had witnessed a motorcycle accident where the two motorcyclists were killed by a drunk driver. When I went home that night, I had to take a different route due to the accident in the main highway.
