Well, last night, there was wind howling through the trees and cones and branches falling on the roof and torrential rain hitting the windows and the sounds of water gushing out of the rain-gutter pipes right outside the head of my bed.........and the distant swish of traffic.........paradise indeed.....

 These photos are beautiful Sparkle. These photos are obviously taken over on the Island. Those ferns are everywhere. There are a lot of them in Stanley Park as well. I didn't know they were called ubiquitous Bracken Fern. I learned something today.

"Ubiquitous" is not the name of the fern, it's an adjective meaning "existing everywhere at the same time, constantly encountered, widespread....

I was just fishing for a "U" word that I could take photos for.....You think that's bad, the Norwegian word for ubiquitous is alestedsnærværende.....
